Shrimp Basket

Average at best. Terribly expensive for what it is. I was hoping it would be better. Mediocre shrimp, yucky oysters and horrible fries. I'll never go back. Worst value in Cullman.

The GM is so kind as well as the entire staff. Great food and very clean. We drove out of our way to come to this location!!

Broccoli was cooked perfect. The other basket had fries, no ketchup. But everything was hot and very tasty!

I was traveling in an RV and pulling a trailer behind and found this place and decided to give it a try. They had a great spot to pull right into with our large vehicle which was really nice. The place wasn't super busy and we were seated right away. Our servers name was Sidni and she was very attentive and got our drinks right away. I got a coastal margarita and it was pretty tasty. If you like citrus/orange this is a great drink to try!Our food order didn't take long at all to come out and it was all hot and fresh. I had the creole shrimp salad roll and fries and the fries were delicious. Piping hot and crispy and tasted really good dipped in their signature hot sauce. The shrimp salad was very flavorful and loaded with shrimp. It had a nice crunch to it from the celery and the roll was toasted so it had a bit of crunch to it as well as being nice and chewy. The manager came out and asked how it was so I had to let him know it was delicious. He told us it was a new item they were trying out that had a bit of a lower price range to help combat the inflation of food costs. I told him I'd definitely try it again if I was ever in this area. Overall it was a really great dining experience. Great service and delicious food. Everyone in my party was very pleased.

We had dinner tonight at the Cullman Shrimp Basket. The staff to include the manager is so nice and welcoming to us. A couple of the young ladies come and greet us and give us hugs and welcome us. We could not ask for better service. It seems like they wait for us each Sunday night as we go there on a regular basis. Some folks might say it is to expensive. You get what you pay for. Julia is our favorite and we appreciate her so much. She is just like one of our grand daughters. Yes we will be back..Gerry & Bobbye S

went there in february and order popcorn shrimp basket it had french frries that had been rewarmed and pop orn shrimp that was rewarmed inold grease they were dark and hard let home office know sent copy of receipt heard nothing back place was in a mess had not been cleaned from lunch this was dinner time when i went

The food was great but the staff was so friendly and chill I had a great time. The bushwacker was amazing. Definitely recommend. 10 out of 10 from pleasant grove!

We went to the Cullman Shrimp Basket and it was fantastic. Our waitress Ashley was the best. Great service and would show up at our table before we needed anything. The food was the best . Shout out to Willy the cook for such good food. 10 out of 10 for the service and the food.

Oyster PO Boy was solid. We also ordered the gumbo and was good, not great. We will be back next time we are close.

I grew up on the coast and have had crab claws many many times. We ordered them tonight and noticed as soon as they were brought to the table they were overcooked. My husband said he smelled ammonia as soon as they were put on the table, but I didn't smell it until I took the first bite. We told the waiter who took it back and took it off of our check. Then a lady who appeared to be the manager came out to tell us nothing was wrong with the crab claws. She said they got them in Thursday and they always smell bad, but nothing is wrong with them. I have never smelled ammonia on seafood before. I confirmed with my family that is still in the shrimping/fishing business who say they smell that way when they're old and typically you get sick quickly. I'm glad we didn't eat more than 1-2 pieces each. They did take them off of our check, but made sure to charge us $2 for a cup of water.
