Shogun Restaurant

Shogun was awesome until they destroyed their business model by not serving the buffet with hibachi anymore. Now it's just the left side which is good, but the hibachi buffet is why my family and friends went here. I have to go to the China star now for what we want. So sad too, I loved shogun before covid.

We eat here regular. Filet and rice is delicious. A little short staffed but food is still very good.

Stopped for the Hibachi. Disappointed that food was brought TO the table. Food was okay, but not special.

Great hibachi. My wife and I stopped while traveling. I had the filet and scallops and my wife had shrimp and scallops. We eat hibachi often and this ranks as one of the best. There was no flare in the preparation but it was extremely flavorful. Good sized portions that left us feeling full and satisfied. Will come again when traveling through.

Ordered takeout online as we were staying next door at the Hampton Inn. General tso chicken with egg roll.Delicious and very generous proportions.Would have again.

Stopped in late one night since this place was near my hotel. Buffet was looking bad, most items were half empty and what was there had been there for a long time. It was dry and unappetizing. I tried a few things, some beef and broccoli and a few shrimp pieces. They have a Mongolian grill that is part of the buffet and that was pretty good. Saved the night cause I couldn't find much to eat on the buffet. I had the rice noodles with beef and a few other things, onions, mushrooms etc. was not bad. Also ordered a roll from the sushi bar and that was pretty good. Advice, get Mongolian grill and sushi avoid the buffet

I ate at the Dyersburg, TN location. It was horrific. The floors were so sticky that my shoes stuck to the floor. The meal was so salty I couldn't eat it & the hostess/manager was rude. The waiter was wonderful & he had to argue with her so that she would take the salmon off my $128 bill. She did not do it nicely. That night our entire party had to buy Pepto Bismal because our stomachs were upset all night. Horrible experience. I'll never do it again.

Very nice people hosting and serving. Food was really good to be located in a county known for farming. Food was also good proportion to the price. The waiter was very knowledgeable of menu and items.Would definitely return.

Everything I ate tasted like it was cooked 2 days prior. Service was good and price reflects food quality

Unfortunately this place has really gone down hill. The Pesi and chicken and steak hibachi is not as good as it used to be 3 years ago. The last 2 times I've been have not been the best. The service has been okay but it seems like the only people working there are the owners. May give it one last try and see if the pesi has gotten any better. Had to go with sweet tea. Sweet tea was the best part of my meal.
