Shelton's Restaurant

Not exactly the best looking restaurant in terms of ambiance/decor, so it's obviously an older place that needs remodeling, but don't let this little hole-the-wall fool you.Their House breakfast is to DIE for, their eggs (I always get over medium) are cooked to perfection, the hash browns are crispy & not undercooked, bacon is always fresh, and the hot cakes will have you asking the cook their recipe!! When I say they have the best pancakes I've ever had in my life, I MEAN it! They're so soft and fluffy, almost spongy and when you add your butter and syrup, they simply melt in your mouth.The service is also great as well since the waitresses are always sweet as pie and very accommodating. If you haven't been and live a few towns away, GO! You won't be disappointed!! I live in Huntingdon, but I don't let that stop me :)

Had chicken parmigiana - just okay. Mostly fried food which is not my preferred cooking method. Strawberry shortcake was perfected. Owner wasVery nice and servers charming.

Okay, I was very skeptical at first trying this restaurant. We had many friends brag about how great the food was. My wife and I went to the restaurant to try. It was 2:30PM, not your average lunch time. We both got Catfish and the trimmings. The food was very fresh, super hot, and very well presented. We have eaten at Lakeview and Boyettes at Reelfoot Lake. We will say this, this was by far the BEST FISH we have ever put in our mouths. We definitely HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT!!!!! You will not be disappointed.

I sometimes ride my bike up there and I LOVE it. The waitresses are some of the kindest people I've ever met. Also, the food is great! The only issue I have is that it takes too long to make. It's worth it, however.

Best catfish around! The serving sizes are huge and the sweet tea is delicious! My boyfriend had the strawberry shortcake and said it was the best he'd ever had. I highly recommend Shelton's!!!

First thing this is not Correct place. It's now called Sheltons and it's terrible.The food takes forever to get and very small portions. The burger was half the size of the bun.And prices are high for the service and food you get here.One more thing the owner puts napkins in the a/c vents to keep it from leaking on people very bad also looks like the health inspector needs to come in

Its now called Sheltons. Only had breakfast here on several occasions. Its very good, but be very careful to stick to the specials, or your going to get slammed with a big bill. Everything comes ala carte. Paid $35 for breakfast for 2 people!

Best pancakes I have had to this day. Their breakfast food is amazing. Always a clean establishment and the staff is always very friendly!

Very good restaurant for a family meal and snacks. They are very friendly and there service is great.I would highly recommend Shelton's Restaurant.

First time here. Have driven by in past and place is always packed. We decided to stop and try. Special was Angry Jim and a Hillybilly Philly. Asked the waitress what it was and she looked at us blankly. She said she didn't know what it was or What came on it and just stood there. She could have offered to ask someone but nobody standing in grill area and didn't even offer to check. We got tea and not once did she come over to refill or check on us after she delivered our food. There were only two booths and place was NOT busy. Very dissatisfied in service. If you enjoy fried foods this is your place. You can walk out smelling like grease guarantee.
