September Nail Salon

I first visited September Nail Salon when I first moved to Memphis in 2014. I don't remember who performed my mani/pedi. I reacquainted with the salon this year after meeting the owner, Jennifer through a mutual acquaintance. While I have enjoyed the services received at other nail places, I prefer having a consistent person and that's not always the case. The ambiance of this salon is so warm, yet bright and inviting! I love the mirrors behind the stations that have affirmations on them. The restroom is cute too! It is VERY clean and staff wears masks and sanitize after each service. I was in dire need of a pedi/mani and decided to try September Nail Salon again. OMG!! I'm so glad I did. I booked the hot stone pedi and all I can say is that Zach is the TRUTH! The water was just the right temp to relax my entire body. He massaged the hell out of my feet and legs, which desperately needed it. The massage chair was a good addition to help put me to sleep too. Zach took his time and was very attentive to me. I don't remember the scent he used for the scrub but it was subtle and light and not greasy. He has a very calm demeanor that is so relaxing to his clients. He has a great sense of humor too. The people were super nice I'm visiting from out of town, but I feel for the price that they charge I should have had a better job done. The shape is uneven, the polish is bumpy and uneven, I have polish on my skin I was cut and still was bleeding hours after I got home. Even the polish on my toes looks off. The polish is already lifting/chipping and I got my nails done today. I was really looking forward to getting my nails done as this was the only high rated place in the area but I just left really upset and disappointed.

Very relaxing atmosphere! The products are made in-house and smell divine. Treat yourself!

This shop is a little gem in Germantown. Very clean. I'm impressed with their sterilization procedures. In a town where no one abides by state law and uses the illegal "cheese grater" on unsuspecting customers. This place does not even have one. My nail tech was very gentle and gives a great polish job. I enjoyed our conversation. They take pride in the salon and it shows.... If you want a safe, excellent pedicure. This is the place.

Wasn't able to get my nails done but would like to have them done here one day. I will review again when I have the chance.

I'm Japanese. I moved to the U.S 2months ago. I went to 4nail salons by the time I reached the nail salon here, but none were satisfactory. The nail salon here is a bit expensive, but they has great skills and services. I will not cry anymore on the way back from the nail salon! simply the best in the city! sabrina was fantastic and very knowledgeable about the products used at the salon. she was very accommodating and helped me find the perfect color even. i've had issues with my nail shapes being inconsistent and the polish ending up bumpy with other salons but it was done perfectly here. truly the best manicure and service i've ever had. for $45 (before tipping of course!), i walked out feeling like a million dollars :)

The nicest, most premium nail salon in all the land and happens to be black-owned excellence.

No answer. One site says walk-ins welcome, another site says appointment only. My question is do they do gel X? I personally do not like to be able to reach someone to get my questions answered before I go to that location when I have never been there before, especially when I live a good distance away.

Wonderful service here. If you care about your nails GO! So calming and clean and kind people here.
