Second Editions Book Store

This is one of my favorite bookstores in Memphis! It's located inside the Central Library and is open Tuesday-Saturday from 10-5. You do have to dig a little bit to find the hidden gems, but it's worth it! I got a record and a book today for $1.10. I've also found brand-new hardbacks for no more than $4.00. Book lovers should definitely stop in.

This place is huge! When I called the guy running it he said they have like over 100,000 books! I was super excited to come here. They have a large wall and table devoted to YA which is my fav section. They had a wall of adult fantasy as well but their romance section was surprisingly small so my friend was rather disappointed. I still scored a ton of books. It's too far away to come to often but I'm happy to make a special trip with friends and get lunch after!

Hands down this is the best bookstore in the Memphis Area. The books are in the best possible condition. The price is excellent and the staff is great!!! I do my best to visit this store on a weekly basis. I recommend it to all of my friends and relatives.

Yes, this is an awesome bookstore. The staff are wonderful and very polite. I love just going inside to look for books not in a regular bookstore. I usually find a book, which is interesting to purchase for self or special occasion. The bookstore even purchases books that are difficult to find by other means. I recommend Second Editions Bookstore for all ages.

This is quite a gem tucked away in the Benjamin Hooks Library lobby! I have gone in and purchased enough quality inexpensive books ranging from $1 to $3 and created small home libraries for my nieces and nephews because they did not own enough books! I also got a 10% discount bc I have a Friends membership card. I learned that it's 10% off the first week of each month and at their big May n October book sales. They play nice jazz while shopping and it was a fun time of shopping. Finally, my son is majoring in Architecture n I bought him tons of architecture books for his personal reference library!!! Great gem !!!

This bookstore is a jewel. Items are neatly organized and sections clearly labeled. They have a good selection of books, cds & dvds. Also, all proceeds go to benefit Memphis Library programs!

An overlooked source for quality and affordable books. The staff are knowledgeable and eager to help. The books, as far as I remember, are only a few dollars. It's clean and the titles are fun to explore.

This book store is located inside of Central Library! I found so many great books there. It is truly amazing how low the prices are. You can't go wrong stopping by Second Editions.

Always surprised to see some newer books, as well as some older ones I wouldn't run across elsewhere. Can't beat the prices either!
