The late evening that I went, we were escorted immediately to a table. It was under two hours until closing time.Variety, yes. Quantity, yes. Quality, no. Items from the hot bar area were hit or miss. Both hot and cold boiled shrimp were not firm -- overcooked Too many of the fried foods were only warm.Service was exceptional.If I were to go again, I would try a time not near closing time.

Overpriced overcooked fish. The food tastes like it's all cooked in the same grease. N

We come here at least every week or two with our family. It's the best catfish you can get! They have a lot of choices, but not many that aren't fried. I love the crab casserole and blackened fish. The deserts with soft serve are the best part

They have a really good seafood menu. My favorite item was the whole catfish. I think that was my 1st time seeing whole catfish on a buffet. The other items are great as well and they also have dessert....including a self-serve ice cream machine. The staff there is very friendly and the price isn't too bad for what you get. I was very pleased

Service was amazing! Everyone kept checking on us and refilling our drinks. Constantly coming over to see if we need anything. The steak was great. The buffet was a let down. I would give it a 6/10. Lots of choices but not great food. It was just ok.

This place is a hidden gem! Totally worth the trip! So delicious! The fried green tomatoes were the best ever! Frog legs were a new treat for me but delicious! Dessert was perfect!

We use to come here all the time. It had been a while and I thought we would see, if they were still good. The place was very clean. The service was great and the food was a little above average for a seafood bar. Especially this far from a fresh source! Dont come here expecting a nice decor. Its very country basic in that department. The fried shrimp were pretty small but they had a good flavor. There was no crab legs. I honestly dont remember if there ever were. I really wouldnt expect quality crab legs at $21 per person. They did have mud bugs and the flavor was very good. The catfish was just ok. I do remember that being a little better. They have lots of good sides to choose from. Like corn on the cobb, turnip greens, chicken spaghetti, fries, onion rings, or hush puppies just to name a few.The overall experience in my opinion was great. I think you can get your moneys worth for what they do have. If your a fan of the peel and eat shrimp, you can get your moneys worth in just in that. Im a big fan of gumbo and jambalaya. They have both and they were also good. The dessert bar was your average peach cobbler, fuge brownie, and banana puddin choices. I hit the soft cream myself after eating all that heavy food.... lol .... My biggest take away. Is get there early if you dont want to wait for a long time. This place stays packed and It does move quickly. Hope you enjoy!

I like that this place is only open a few days for a few hours. I believe this is why the quality was higher than expected and the service was better than expected. Everybody should be able to give it their all for a few hours and this place does. So happy I came.The parking lot is just a gravel pit. It may take you a minute to find a free spot and get off the lot. The restaurant is a wooden establishment on a hill. Most people order the buffet and fill up quickly so the table wait is not long. They need some more staff but the staff they do have work hard.The buffet is loaded with food. One section is a dessert bar with peach cobbler, brownies, banana pudding, and an ice cream machine. Another section is a salad bar. It has all the toppings and dressings you need. They also use the salad bar for loaded baked potatoes. They have a chill section with chilled shelled shrimp, cole slaw, tartar sauce. The hot section is the main attraction. They have whole fish, fish fillets, blackened fish, hush puppies, fried oysters, fried green tomatoes, chicken strips, frog legs, french fries, fried mushrooms, and so many other items.

Great selection. Always fresh. They bring out small batches so they are fresh and hot

Don't like to use the word, "service". All staff members show up for work and take pride in this business! Incredible smiles and very hospitable!Food is great. Variety on the huge buffet line. Always adding during the course of the evening. Recommend the hamburger steak w/ sautéed onions and brown gravy, fried catfish, shrimp (boiled & fried), veggies, fried oysters and baked sweet potatoes. Haven't delved into any other food - yet! Peach cobbler is delish. Kudos to Amy, Sharon & Belinda - I'm new to the area...don't yet know everyone there but these ladies are incredible! Very attentive. It's a must for anyone that hasn't dined here. To go or dine-in, nothing has been missing or wrong with an order. Very detailed.
