Saxon's Drive In

Had lunch here today with the mister and was not disappointed! I ordered the February special - the Big Philly, which was basically a combination of a Philly Cheesesteak and a burger. Onions, peppers, Philly steak, hamburger patty and 2 cheeses. I added jalapeños. Ask for a fork and napkins. It's messy. And a bit greasy. The bun was soft and was similar to Hawaiian bread. I could only eat 1/2. I made it a large combo for a $5 upcharge. The order of fries, however, was not very large for the price. Crinkle cut fries are generally not my 1st choice but these were cooked perfectly. A 32 oz fountain drink is included in the large combo. The mister & I shared the fries and drink. The mister got the Super Burger, to which he said was delicious! He also got a chocolate milkshake and I'm pretty certain was one of the best I have had. I'm not the biggest milkshake fan so that is saying quite a bit. We paid $30 and some change for the food mentioned above. A bit expensive for what it was but it was good. I plan to return when in the area. Make sure to ask for napkins and utensils because you will definitely need them.

Nice people, great food. Next door to PAC-a-POK TRUCKSTOP. Have several metal tables & a small wood picnic table. Flowers, pleasant partially covered outdoor space. Will take call Ins for take out. Very friendly staff. Small neighborly place.

Wish I could give 10 stars! Stopped by Saxon's after biking on the Tanglefoot Trail and was so happy we did. Best shakes in the state hands down, and even better service. If you're hitting the bike trail and are looking for a great place to eat after (or before), this is it.

It was a nice stop - decent drive-in food. Lots of variety and reasonable quality, but a little slow on service. Friendly staff and very helpful. Pricing overall was good, but the milkshakes were a bit high at $13 each.

I grew up eating here! Always great food and friendly service. It is basically a drive in but there are picnic tables outside. Best fries in the world!!! Love their milkshakes too.

This is my favorite stop for anything freshly made. Nothing is pre-made and on a warmer. Everything in the menu is made when you order it. If you have time constraints, call ahead and have it ready when you pull up.

Love Saxon's! Love the employees and the food. Great place to hang out with friends and family.

This place rocks! The staff here are super friendly and nice. The food is great, with lots of choices. The shakes are amazing! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
