Sam's Bar-B-Q

Visited for the first time. I went to try the turkey legs they serve on Saturdays (only), but they didn't have any. My second choice was the beef, and again, they didn't have none. The only thing available was the pulled pork, so I decided to try it. Good tasting and VERY good portions. You might want to call before going and make sure they have what you want to eat available. The prices on the menus online are not up to date.

Great BBQ!!!! They have been here for years and years. They have a good family pack specially it comes with homemade pie that you can choose from.

Excellent food, best pulled pork and tried a fried bologna sandwich for the 1st time, surprisingly good. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Zero for ambiance, but the food makes up for that!

Place is awesome but the business is a mess. They close for lunch, their advertised hours are at best a mere suggestion and they never answer the phone. Again a fantastic West TN bbq joint but good luck getting them when their interested in running a restaurant/business. Could be a gold mine if someone got it together.

If you are looking for real wood smoked barbeque then look no further. Don't be fooled by the exterior. Inside is clean and bright. The staff was very nice and friendly. I had a jumbo pork sandwich and they made a bean and slaw sandwich for my vegetarian wife. She loved it. The pork was perfect as was the spicy sauce. Finished it off with an amazing slice of pie! "No wood no good" said the cook!Agreed!

Great place to eat Excellent barbecue and really fine fries!Choice of sauces 2 home made that were both good.Does not look like much but well worth a stop!(Or even a detour to visit it!)

Found this Gem on Yelp. Drove 25 miles out of my way Best customer service that I have ever seen. Had the jumbo bbq sandwich with a topping of Cole slaw and Bbq sauce. Topped it off with Chess pie. 5 for this spot!

Some of the best barbecue I have ever had. We had just moved to town and our very nice new neighbors brought us pulled pork, slaw, and baked beans to welcome us. The meat and slaw was excellent. I don't like baked beans so I can't comment, but my wife liked them. Growing up in the south has taught me if you want good barbecue look for a building that appears recently condemned. condemned.

Food was excellent. The staff was sweet I would definitely recommend Sam's barbecue. Be sure not to forget the pie. The buttermilk pie was delicious.

I am nearly incoherent if I don't have pounds of pulled pork in my freezer! We had never tried Sam's, but it had come highly recommended, and we were not sorry. We had already stopped by another place we had been to and bought 3 pounds, and while we ate delicious barbecue sandwiches at Sam's, he rustled up two pounds of pulled pork for us to take home. So I am here to tell you that Sam's was much smokier with no fat and gristle, plus it was a few dollars less. In short, it was stellar! So, we ate the three pounds we bought at the first place, sort of to just get it over with, but boy! When we got to Sam's our patience was rewarded! So good!!! The building is old, but neat as a pin inside. The restrooms are old, but clean. Fear not, sometimes it looks closed, but it isn't, and the people are sweet as pie.
