We stumbled upon Salvo's trying a new pizza place while out and about one day and go when we get the chance now. We love the fresh antipasti salad and usually split it with a pizza or calzone. We love that you can watch them make it and it's always fresh, delicious, and cheesy! If you're a pizza lover, don't miss the chance to swing in for a bite before you shop, go take in a movie, or just to feed the tiny pizza monster that lives in your tummy.

I wandered in yesterday, evidently for the first time in 13 years. I probably wasn't there at peak good pizza time, but got a burnt slice that was kind of disappointing. Slightly burnt crust, hard crunchy crust that I'm not going to really go into but it's not what crust needed to be, it was closer to a hard breadstick than any pizza crust I've ever enjoyed.I suspect it probably suffered from them reheating it for far too long, I had gotten to the point where I wondered if they had forgotten about it.Betting that were it closer to fresh it would have been quite acceptable pizza, but as with last time I was here the cook time was not quite right.Pizza looked good, I'll give it that. I want to try it sometime when it's not a reheat as I suspect that's what did this great looking slice in.

This was the very first place we tried out after moving to the area and we were not disappointed! We did go in and place an order for pick up. The staff was so friendly and patient while we reviewed the menu and she even gave us recommendations. Our order came out promptly as well. Today was our second visit and this was an online order for pick up. The ordering process was seamless, food was ready right on time and I liked the option to place an order for a later time the same day. We tried the supreme with no olives and jalapeños instead plus garlic knots with garlic dipping sauce. Fresh and delicious just like the first time.

Being from out of town, I saw a delicious pic of their pizza when searching for restaurants in the area. The pizza cheese is the best feature of their pie. I was hoping the crust would have the taste & texture of a NY slice, but it is more like a deep dish outer shell feel for a thin crust pizza. It just tasted bland and once I got past the cheese, the rest of the pizza is average.I think if they revisited the crust recipe and put a little sugar in the sauce, plus added more premium pepperoni, it will be excellent.

When I moved to Hermitage it took me a while to find a pizza place that was delicious, clean, friendly, and a great variety! It is also family friendly so don't worry about an upset kid!

The pizza was okay. The crust was hard and like cardboard but I was starving so I wolfed it down. Everything came out all right so I didn't get food poisoning. I would not got there again.... unless I was so hungry I felt inclined to gnaw my arm off.

I ordered this pizza through Uber Delivery, The Uber people did their usual excellent job and the pizza arrived hot and ready to go. The Uber driver had to wait for a bit but no big deal. Got the pizza within 30 minutes. A 14 inch cheese, sausage and mushroom with jalapeno peppers on half of it. it was a pretty good New York style pie. They use canned mushrooms in case you're fussy about that sort of thing. The sauce is on the savory side rather than sweet. Crust was well done, not crispy, not soggy. Toppings were average, not skimpy, not abundant. Pretty much a standard pie to suit different tastes.I am a pizza snob so to get a five star, the pizza really needs to be outstanding and distinctive. However, this is a very good pizza and I would order from again. But it lacks the edge factor to really impress me.
