Salt was a fun spot to go for brunch! I wish I was able to get a picture of the food, but it was too dark and the picture wouldn't have done it any service. The salmon and grits was on tasty and delectable. The grits were made with a Gouda cheese that had me salivating for every bite. The salmon was cooked to perfection and melted real nicely into the grits. The hookah experience was so much fun and chill for the company I wish with. We were there for four hours enjoying the music and service!

I had a pretty good time here for a friend's birthday! I had been wanting to try this spot out. The spacing in here is accommodating. The night we went there was a live band and they were great. The DJ was also really good as well. We also had a little karaoke fun! One thing that stuck out to me is the healthy food options they offer. Many lounges don't offer that. I had grilled shrimp and asparagus. They were welled seasoned and filling. The bonus is my meal wasn't super expensive. For it to be really crowded, I must say the service was great and our server was really friendly. Cool vibe!

This establishment is really nice and the atmosphere is great. The bartender was amazing and held a conversation making the experience even better. The only reason I am giving four stars is because the food was not great. I has the buffalo chicken eggrolls and yeah it was not it. Flavor wasn't there and they were cold. The spinach dip was average as well. I'm going to visit again and eat something else because people always say their food was soooo good, so maybe I ordered the wrong thing.My drinks were very good and my check wasn't bad as well. It's definitely worth another try.

We've visited two Sundays back to back for brunch. 9/10/23: we had an amazing time, drinks were 10/10, food was perfectly prepared, dj had the tunes spinning and the vibes were present. Since a few siblings weren't able to come we decided to visit again the next week. Food: red velvet waffle and chicken, and watermelon lemon drop. When I say the bartending is on POINT, I mean that. 9/17/23: Started off great until food arrives. I ordered the cherry lemon drop which tasted like lemon. I was told someone might have used to much of the lemon lime mixer. I decided to go with the peach lemon drop the next round and that was much better. The star of the show was the catfish and grits. 10/10 everything was perfection. Unfortunately can't say the same for others in my party. Several found hair in their dishes. I will say management was professional about visiting the table to explore the issue and offer options. As someone who loves to patronize BOB, I was truly happy to see this occur and not the blame game.

Red velvet chicken and waffles and a regular chicken and waffle I'll rate 10 out of 10Must go!! Don't do the chicken wings but get that breast for someone just couldn't go couldn't go

The live band was all the way live had the crowd dancing and singing in their seats the food was good and hot and the drinks were good and ready the atmosphere was a party

They mean well, but I came in with a party and we just happened to not all be here at the same time. Well, because of that, I got penalized. They would not serve me. When I moved to another table with my family (family reunion) they still did not serve me because they had already taken orders from the other three people at the table. So what must a girl do to get service in here? I had to order my drink from the bar and still was ignored at the table. I guess I'll go to Sonic for some food. The music was great, however and the drink that I received from the bar was on point that's why I gave it a 3.

Pros: 1. SALT is a great reuse of the space. The building had always been some type of restaurant space/bar. So, this is a good revival.2. The food came out hot, which is BIG to me! It was good too! 3. I ordered the salmon plate. The salmon was cooked to perfection. No complaints here.4. The staff was also nice. 5. A woman in our party really enjoyed her drink. She ordered another one while we were sitting. Cons: 1. The service was slow. We sat at the bar area at a high top table. But, everything took so long, and our waitress didn't (or wasn't able to) check on us often.2. Though the broccoli, seasonal veggies, and yellow rice were good, these sides were bit heavy on the seasoning. We have to be careful with that, especially in our African American community, for the health of our people. 3. The Karoake was loud and overwhelming, and I wasn't even in the main section. I was sitting in the bar area.3. Allowing people and the bartenders to twerk brings down the caliber of the restaurant. It was paradoxical to have a dress code, but a bartender was twerking on the floor. And, guests were twerking on the stools. If it's a club, then I can't really have any qualms. But, for a restaurant and lounge, there should be some more maturity and decorum.
