I love Asian food and my husband loves Mexican food, so this is the perfect spot for date nights! And double dates! And all the time. I really love that I can get sushi and my husband can get a burrito because often when I pickup food I will go to two places to grab food so we can both get whatever we are craving. I always seem to be craving Asian food and hubby just doesn't vibe with any Asian food but loves Mexican food so I am so excited this place exists. I didn't necessarily see many fusion options here but I will have to look again next time. I really liked the sushi things I got here. I totally forgot to try my husband's food. I think he wasn't a fan of it so hopefully he remembers what it was so he can try something different next time! Loved: - Soup: Onion- Sushi: HulkLiked: - Appetizer: Spring Roll- Drink: Horchata - Sushi: Crazy Boy - Sushi: MexicoOk: - SalsaDisliked: - Sushi: Crunchy Spicy Tuna

The food is pretty good. Ordering is a pain in the butt. Our waitress didn't understand half of what we ordered. She didn't seem to understand English or Spanish. We had to open the menus and point to items and even then she sometimes just shrugged and said "I don't know".My wife ordered a Long Island Iced Tea. It was as clear as water and tastes like crap. Twice. They had mo idea how ro make it. We asked if we could talk to the bartender and was told no.Even though the food we finally figured out how to order was good, the frustration in ordering will keep us away.

Sake VS Tekila on a Saturday night was a good experience. At first I was perplexed by the concept, but it seems to actually work well! Last night they had a saxophone player who played popular songs of all genres, very talented and added to the experience. The drinks are good! A little on the strong side. I enjoyed the carne asada plate with rice and beans. Fairly authentic and up to par with the better Mexican restaurants in the area. Looking forward to trying the sushi next time!

Tuesday lunch plans were at Sake vs Tekila at the Cordova location. It was fun meeting up with one of my lunch crews. I had the combo 1 Maki sushi roll and two chicken tacos with corn tortillas. The sushi roll I ordered was tempura shrimp. Friends at the table ordered queso dip and guacamole dip. Both dips were fantastic. I would order those again. My tacos were seasoned well and were good with the hot sauce. My sushi was meh but okay. My friends had the two for one hibachi steak combo and mentioned it was quite good. Service was good. Our server was nice and tried hard to speak in English. The restaurant is decorated with Japanese and Mexican murals which is different. It also has colorful flags hanging across the main part of the dining area. It was fun. If I return, I will stick to the Mexican food. The menu is quite extensive with all of the different choices of foods.

I've heard of fusion, but this is a mix I did not expect. I literally wanted sushi, but my hubby wanted burritos, and we both were able to get exactly what we wanted! Plus, the complimentary chips and salsa was right on time. I'll definitely visit again.

We were seated upon arrival. We ordered. Food delivered fresh and hot. The Music was playing very low . I appreciate that ! However, there were fruit flies that I had to constantly fan. I covered my food and drink with a napkin. The margarita was refreshing.

This is really a great spot. My husband and I have been multiple times since it opened about a month ago. Each time we are greeted with friendly service and great food. The ambiance is great too with Mexican music. I love starting with the margaritas and chips & salsa. Then I twist things up by getting hibachi or sushi. This is a great combo for the food that everyone wants when you can't decide. I can't wait to return.

## Sake vs Tekila: A Tale of Two Dinners (and a Roach)This review is more of a cautionary tale than a head-to-head comparison of sake and tequila, since they're beverages, not restaurants. However, I can share my experience at Sake vs Tekila, a restaurant with a great two-for-one hibachi special...until things went south.**The Good:*** **Food and Price:** The first visit with a friend was fantastic! The food on the hibachi grill was delicious, and the two-for-one special made it an unbeatable value. My family and I returned specifically for this deal. * **Drinks (For Some):** The margaritas were apparently good - my mom enjoyed hers.**The Not-So-Good:*** **Language Barrier:** We encountered a language barrier with both servers, making communication a bit challenging.**The Really Bad:*** **Uninvited Guest:** Midway through the meal, my oldest daughter spotted a roach crawling on the wall of our booth. Needless to say, this was disgusting and ruined our appetite.* **Dismissive Response:** We notified the staff, expecting an apology and some kind of resolution. Unfortunately, the manager (or so she claimed) offered very little empathy. They denied experiencing roaches before, which seemed unlikely based on their reaction. * **Half-Hearted Solution:** After some back-and-forth, they only offered to remove one plate from the bill, even though the entire experience was spoiled.**The Bottom Line:** This experience was a major disappointment. While the food and price were initially appealing, a roach sighting is a major turn-off. The lack of concern from the management team solidified my decision to avoid this restaurant in the future. **Final Thoughts:**It's a shame, because the food seemed to have potential. If they can address the cleanliness issue and improve their customer service, they might be worth another try. However, based on this experience, I can't recommend Sake vs Tekila at this time.

Great service & a LOT of options to choose from. Classic Hispanic-TexMex vibe, with chips given to each table; with a Japanese inspired twist.

I came here today because I couldn't decide if I wanted Mexican or Habachi food today. Sake vs Yekila was able to satisfy my taste for both. I ordered A cheese dip appetizer but the meal still came with soup and salad. Portions are huge and they are reasonably priced meals.Waitress was attentive and was knowledgeable of menu. The establishment was clean and not overly crowded.
