Rusty Spur Diner

Well the sign says Rusty Spur Steakhouse, but I guess diner works. I'd call the theme western with a mural of an old western town painted on one wall. Lots of wood and old barn metal. The service was friendly and quick. My wife and I tried the special. I opted for pork chop and she chose the meatloaf. We had turnip greens, slaw, hush puppies, their cornbread pancake, southwest corn mix, and cabbage. That way we got to try most of the sides. They were out of some of them. Great flavor all around, like being back in grandma's house. Stop in and give them a try. I recommend the smoked pork chop. Tremendous flavor.

A Great place to eat! The waitress was great, she didn't hoover, but came to the table the right amount of times to refill our glasses and check on us. The place was very cozy. We will definitely go back.

We had wonderful steaks and side items for Father's Day and wonderful desserts too! We ordered it all to go for our father's in assisted living and it was very accurate and hot!! Wonderful gift for everyone!

100% Phenomenal! We loved everything about this place from the atmosphere til dessert. The waitress was super helpful with it being our first time and her recommendations were spot on. Although it would be a bit of a drive for us, it would be worth the hour to come back again. Defiantly order the caramel apple pie thing for dessert.. with ice cream!

I was in town on business. One of the people I was working with told me this was one of the best places in town to eat dinner. I pulled in at about 4:30, there was almost no one there but it was early for dinner. As I walked up I saw that there were dogs( someone's pets) on the outside patio, you could not get from the parking lot to the door without getting in there space. I love dogs but you never know if someone has a mean dog, if you do something to trigger them or they just don't like how close to their person. I just don't like dogs at restaurants inside or out.I was seated quickly but the server really took a long time to take my drink order but I thought maybe since it was slow she didn't even know I was there yet. I got my drink and she said she would be back to get my order. It was about 15 minutes before she returned. I ordered a sirloin and it was season well and cooked exactly as I ordered it. I ordered a salad and was told they were out of lettuce. I didn't know what to think of that at a steak house.I finished my meal and waited another 15 minutes for my bill. My iced tea was never refilled. The food was great but the service was not very good. The poor rating is based on the service, the meal was 5 stars.

Lots of folks there on a Friday night. Family owned and operated, good people and kind as they come. We had the porterhouse steak and fried shrimp. The sides are incredible. Best sweet potato I've had away from home. Porterhouse was cooked perfectly medium and the slaw was perfection. Definitely going back every week. Forgot the photo because I was hungry.

A great local spot with good food and friendly server's. We went on a Friday night and they were very busy. We waited in the outdoor patio area and enjoyed the fire pit. It was a very nice evening.

Just passing through and got hungry. Blair was fantastic and the food was great!! I may have eaten too many tots though. If ever in the area again, we'll definitely make it back.

Best food ever!!! Great service and happy smiling faces to wait on their customers. Reasonable prices with tasty steaks. We really enjoyed this restaurant. I'd give it 10 stars if we could. Eat here you will be happy you did

Had a steak. It was thin and fatty. Pretty sure I got food poisoning there.The atmosphere was nice. The staff was nice.
