I visited Richie and Reggie's a few times while living in Gleason, TN. It is located next to a car store, so it's easy to miss. Inside is somewhat a mess at times and it looks like things are done at tables (such as bookkeeping). The owner was always very friendly and cordial, and service was always good. The food was mediocre, if I'm being honest, and I always felt the BBQ itself was not very good. Most sides tasted very greasy and lacked a crisp and snap I'd want from such items. I wish there were a place nearby that had BEEF BBQ, but, alas, most only have pork.

So I tried reggie's I think it was last week or a couple week ago and you have got to try the chicken wings. They are knock your socks off good! I don't know what they do to the wing batter to make the coating so good it's got this heat to it but it's not an overpowering heat it's just the right level of heat you would expect from a chicken wing you know? Whatever they're doing they should keep doing it because I will definitely get more of the wings next time I go there.

OK. I'm a California boy. I don't know nothin' about nothin' when it comes to BBQ.But this I do know. Rule #894 of owning a restaurant says that 20% of your booth space should not be taken up with random piles of junk. The ten year old computer monitor, the two foot stack of paperwork and the rusty tools go in the office or the storage unit or the dumpster but not in the dining room.Rule #631 says that your guests should not have to endure random distractions. The police band radio blaring over the TV while your guests are trying to talk is just stupid. Take it out.Rule #51 says that your wait staff ought to be at least nominally friendly. This gal was working hard to overcome her phobia of strangers and while I commend that and encourage it, it makes for an odd dining experience.And Rule #1, the most important rule, the rule that you live and die by, says if you suggest an item it had better ROCK. Instead your half rack of ribs was served with sauce on the side. And when eaten without the sauce the ribs were flavorless. They tasted like nothing. I thought this was scientifically impossible but the folks at Richie & Reggie's are evil genius material because they have achieved the impossible.Congrats on your scientific achievement.Too bad your restaurant kinda sucks.

First time eating at Richie and Reggie's and we will be back. We had take out BBQ with all of the sides, and they were all delicious! My favorite kind of potato salad too! Very tender and juicy BBQ! If you haven't tried it, you're missing out!

The service is not good, they are racist, waiting time is more than 50 minutes.The environment is not save at all, they are not taking care of the customers! Too may people close together! Please work in your customer service! Take more precautions! Food is good!
