This establishment should be avoided, please do not waste your money. I ordered the Family Meal #5, fried chicken, fried fish, and french fries, via Uber Eats. There were lemon wedges in my tray. Why? One, the lemon wedges made my food soggy, especially the french fries, which were also undercooked. Why would I squeeze warm lemon on my fried chicken, fried fish, or french fries? Where is the logic in that? And the chicken was bad, as in old. Like the chicken was old and turning before it was fried. My stomach is in knots!! Now that's a huge safety issue and you should be ashamed of yourself!! I filed two complaints with the Health Department before I left this review.

This place has very fresh food it is mostly a long wait when I have visited this restaurant however very much worth the wait. The prices are very reasonable and you definitely get your moneys worth definitely try it yes it is a sketchy area however totally worth it.

Avoid this place like the plague! The "fish" is bland and not fresh. I ordered the fried snapper and I doubt that I even got snapper, it tasted like old cod. My friend ordered the catfish and it tasted EXACTLY like my "snapper". Just don't do it, this place should be condemned.

Absolute TRASH!!!! False advertising and deceitful management!!! They are selling "Swai" fish under the name "Catfish" it's a crying shame!!! Then they refused to refund when they were caught just to save face. They are despicable people and I have them trying to cover up their lies on camera. Lawsuit coming soon!!! I wouldn't trust an orange soda from this place! The owners are tossing cheap GMO made in China frozen foods in a glob of grease and cheap desserts. Worse place on Frayser Blvd besides the McDonald's.

My husband and I live in the area and visited Red Snapper one night we were too lazy to cook dinner. We've always seen how they had a constant crowd and figured we'd check out the hype. What a disappointment. The food tasted freezer burned and it was over cooked and rubbery. We stomached most of our meals--me the catfish and him the gyro. BIG MISTAKE...we paid severely the following day! We had the worst stomach cramps, upset stomach, and severe nausea. It was to the point where we were seriously considering going to the doctor. It was bad! Needless to say, we will not revisit the Red Snapper. While the service was great, the food was bad enough to make you never want to "venture out" ever again.
