Red Hook Cajun Seafood & Bar

We're traveling through to Knoxville & stopped in Jackson for a bite to eat. Most of the places in the area closed at 9P, so it was hard to find a place that would take a party of 6 at 8:30P. Lucky for us, this place stayed opened until 10P. We were greeted with friendly faces and seated promptly. Our waitress was amazing and service was quick. We ordered the seafood combo B, gumbo, hush puppies & fried shrimp basket. Everything was so good and cooked perfectly. The gumbo was so delicious (I recommend adding shrimp because their shrimp were really good). The restaurant was actually very nice. The bar was in the shape of a boat. My boys loved all the fun decorations! Would definitely recommend if passing through Jackson :)

Came in for a quick lunch outing. Thankfully the crowds hadn't arrived so quickly seated. Upon ordering we were notified of the lunch specials,which was reasonably priced. The location was very clean and the music provided a good vibe as people dined. The staff were friendly and the dining experience was great.

It was horrible. Staff was rude but the food wasn't for me. The party I was with enjoyed the food so maybe that's just a preference of mine but I would not recommend.

I was visiting from out of town and craving seafood. Should've known I couldn't get good seafood in TN. That's understandable, but the utter lack of service and hospitality at this restaurant was shocking. The food was edible, but was not good. I suggest, Just driving right past red hook and go somewhere else.

ABSOLUTELY DELECTABLE it was the best seafood i've ever had in my life! 10000/10 recommend! shrimp 10/10crawfish 8/10potatoes 10/10corn 10/10 crab 10/10sauces 100/10if you are looking for a seafood place this is must try!!the service was SOO good and quick!even the water was delicious!the bag appeared small but once we dumped it out it was enough to feed 4 people!

After living on the gulf coast, we were craving seafood. I read some reviews on yelp and decided to try it out. We liked the atmosphere and the service was great. The steamed snow crab and shrimp were really good. We loved the seasoning also. Will definitely be back soon.

We were passing through on our way home from Nashville. We wanted shrimp. The food was affordable and delicious.

We doordashed this and it was a perfect Saturday night meal! The crawfish were juicy and big! The muscles were okay had better but were bad. We ordered a side of boiled eggs, definitely do that again! All in all was 5 for us! Also placed our order at 6:35 and was delivered to us at 7!

Don't get the blue crab grey and rotten and the waitress said that it was what it should look like.

I feel like the first thing that should be evaluated in a so called "Cajun" restaurant is their gumbo. If the restaurant, through its employees, doesn't know how to do a decent roux, that's a major red flag in my opinion. I've had tremendously non-authentic gumbo at numerous places before, but I can't honestly remember ever having any gumbo as bad as what I got here today. I had much higher hopes. 1 is generous.
