Food is always real good. Egg drop soup can't be beat. Sushi is fresh and proportionate to the roll. The boat seating is the best but booth and back area are nice as well. Our server Kendall was real nice and helped with menu suggestions and taste profiles. Would definitely come back (and ask for her)

*** Update***Over the past couple of years this place has fallen apart. Very long wait times. Very sloppy organization. The place looks messy. Food quality is low. The have forgotten our orders about 3 times now. Tonight though was the real loser. Placed our order online and when we got there 30 minutes later, the order had not made it to the kitchen. Bad systems in place. We waited another 30 minutes and when the food finally left the kitchen, we were asked to pay full price after our 1 hour wait. I told the lady that wasn't right and she offered a 10% discount after telling me that I was wrong about my order times, that I hadn't waited very long, and that it was an employee's fault. This was the most disrespectful exchange I've had at a restaurants. Save your time and money and go anywhere else. This place isn't worth either. *** original post***We're in love. I was afraid there was no good Sushi in the suburbs and man, was I wrong. Every time we go, the food is not only delicious but beautifully presented. Service is always great too. I am in disbelief that this place exists but I'm very happy it does.

I don't usually write bad reviews, but just wanted to inform everyone since I gave them a glowing review a few years ago! They were really good for over 10 years but something has drastically changed in the kitchen. We tried eating in on a Friday night, hostess was great, server was great, restaurant was clean (a little cluttered), but all our dishes were "off"! My favorite sushi 40 kel was a little "funky" and we didn't finish it, my husband's favorite dish was not good. A lady sitting close to us returned soup that was way too salty. We thought it was odd since they have always been delicious, so today we tried a "to go" order. They took our order correctly and their customer service was great, but the food was Awful!! We tried different items Hunan Chicken, Fried Rice, Egg Rolls...all weirdly over over seasoned! Looks like there's a new cook in the kitchen.

I never write reviews ever but I do read them. Wish I had taken the time to do so prior to ordering at Red Fish.This use to be my family's goto place. Was always clean, food was fresh and the staff was enthusiastic.It changed little by little for the worse over the years and when other area sushi choice evolved we migrated to them.Granted I went in about 3pm and I know for many places this is a potentially bad time slot to expect the best in service but food served should always be consistent regardless of the time of day or level of patrons.I hate to say it because I hate being negative about anyone's business and don't wish any to fail but I fear this place is one plate away from causing a health hazard.Ingredients were obviously pre-prepped to a point of gross and potentially over day old.I strongly urge anyone thinking about choosing to eat here, NOT! At least not until there is a drastic managerial and staff change or some new ownership takes the helm.It has been in decline for so long now it may possibly be pass the point of return in terms of food but could possibly serve well as a front for a yakuza money laundering operation.

Today was our first time here since about 2.5 years. I remember the time before this one we were thinking this food has changed but maybe it was an off day in the kitchen. Fast forward to today we said let's try them again. It was so BAD-it was salty, the rice was clumpy/mushy. My dish was salty but my daughters was saltier, so I gave her part of mine. The ratio of sauce to the rest of the food was overwhelming! Neither of us finished, nor will we save what was left. Money & time wasted, that's it we won't be returning.

In my opinion, the taste and quality of Red Fish's food has diminished considerably. Today I ordered the General Tso's chicken lunch special. It included fried rice (or what should have been fried rice) and an egg roll.I'd asked that they make the chicken extra crispy because this was takeout and i didn't want the chicken too soft by the time I arrived home. Not only was the chicken not extra crispy, the rice seemed to be just an ordinary "out of the pouch" "heat-n-eat" rice. The chicken was much too chewy and seemed to have been microwaved. I was extremely dissatisfied with the meal. The cashier was friendly and greeted me promptly.

The fried rice looked really dark brown and it was very dry. If you told me it was 3 days old I would believe you. The fish in my sushi as well as my shrimp tasted honestly dirty. The waiter was pretty nice, but the tables looked dirty and they were honestly sticky. I will not be returning:/
