My 3 year old was rudely scolded bye a tall male employer who yelled across the restaurant in quote "how about we give you something to play with that doesn't cost money!" Then placed permanent markers in front of him instead. Yea let's give a 3 year old permanent markers. What could go wrong? I think we wasted about 50 cents of good salt so he could trace his fingers in the salt. Sad staff choice with that young tall male who was working tonight. Our waitress was awesome just not the young male who obviously needs a refresher on customer service and human beings. Fries were good. Crab cake was sour FYI. Le sigh.

Was traveling through Memphis and a friend took me to this place for a Sunday brunch. WOW! Everything is homemade from scratch. The food is next level. Our server Ally was super helpful and very knowledgeable about the menu. The ambience is great. It is located in historic downtown Collierville and the vibe is incredible! Highly recommend this place!

One of the most consistent places around! This place has been in regular rotation for Sunday brunch for about 5 years now. The steak and eggs are my go to. My husband really likes their grits. Service is always pleasant. The only thing that could make it better was if they offered a spinach (as a side or for the omelette). Gotta get those veggies in!

All the team here are really nice people. House-made pork rinds are waiting on table when you arrive in the evening, amongst a relaxed yet upscale dining experience. Austin, the manager, has put together a great team and leads by example while mixing up great cocktails behind the bar, running food out, checking on tables etc. The kitchen team have an excellent pedigree of fine dining standards with a love of food that shows in their unpretentious but absolutely delicious food, so much that nearly everything sells out and rightly deserved. The pimento cheese app looked amazing and comes with bacon jam and crumbles and the sauce is perfect. The children's chicken tenders meal is enormous and everything is made from scratch, made to order. Catfish is extremely popular with its gluten free coating and again 2 fillets with your order. Burgers are not to be missed and yes they make the gluten free buns in house!Shrimp & grits is heavenly, they really outdo themselves. Both chicken dishes are fantastic! All the beef is locally sourced and just melts in your mouth. For desert get the chocolate soufflé is served in cast iron and is decadent, the lemon curd with the freshest strawberries, and being Italian I adore an affogato which is perfect at the end of a meal. And I found out this place is opening a second location in Somerville in August and does a Sunday brunch- I can only imagine what's in store.

I've been wanting to try this place for a while now. We made reservations around 6 pm the night before for brunch but it apparently didn't make it into the system. But it was for right when they opened so no worries. Plenty of seats. Staff was fine. Not like Chili's nice. But they got the job done. Chicken with biscuits were good. Chicken was tender and looked kind of undercooked (translucent) in the thickest part. Also the breading kept slipping off. Not sure if that's normal or not. Had naked tenders every time I picked them up. The biscuits and gravy dish had thick cut bacon and a thick sausage patty. Not the thin stuff I'm used to. But I wish they put more gravy on it. Ran really dry at the end and biscuits tough to eat like that. Probably the best dish on the table this morning was the shrimp and grits Benedict. 5 shrimp, decent size. Sauce was tasty too. I'd order it again just for that. Better than the gravy on the biscuits in my opinion. Check came out before we were done eating. My dad had only finished 1 of his 2 biscuits. Guess they wanted to move us out. It was packed full by 10:40 am on Saturday. The one thing I really don't like is the surcharge for credit card use. Is this a Collierville thing? Or a town square thing? These days folks use plastic and because the bill ain't cheap, folks usually don't carry that amount of cash around with them. I wish restaurants got this concept. Bake it into the food price if you must. But don't do the 3.5% surcharge thing. Takes you from classy to trashy.

I can't believe I haven't discovered this gem until now! After a few lackluster experiences at Edge Alley, I was on the lookout for a new brunch spot and decided to give Raven & Lily a try after a friend recommended it. We were promptly seated after arriving on an early Saturday morning. Here's what we ordered:Brioche Cinnamon Roll: A delightfully dense treat with a generous burst of cinnamon flavor.Pork Belly: Crispy and literally melts in your mouth.Chicken & Biscuits: Incredibly tender chicken paired with amazing biscuits.Shrimp & Grits: A plate bursting with rich and savory flavors.Overall, this was a great experience and Raven & Lily has quickly become our favorite brunch spot in Memphis! I'm also eager to explore their dinner menu at some point. Highly recommended!

All the team at the Somerville location are amazing. Relaxed yet an upscale dining experience. The servers always check on the table and the manager will come around and make you are enjoying your meal. My husband likes the Burgers and I like the Shrimp and Grit.

The food and service were exceptional. I got the plain Jane burger with fries. My husband got the shrimp and grits. Both were great. I love that they make everything in house except the ketchup. Even the mayo on my burger was house made. The other neat thing is there are house made pork rinds on the table to snack on while you wait. We will definitely be back.
