Amazing hidden treasure in northern Alabama. Beautiful scenery on the way to the saloon. Awesome truck ride down to the open air restaurant. Waitress was very helpful in suggesting what to order. And the burgers were FANTASTIC!! I can't wait to come out again.

A fun place to enjoy an unusual environment. The Rattlesnake Saloon is situated in a cave in the side of a mountain so the atmosphere is quite entertaining. This not an enclosed cave, more of a large opening that they have built in a saloon area where the food is prepared and the rest of the opening is a dining area with uplighting that accentuates the natural beauty of nature's work. To get to the cave, you park in a gravel lot and wait for the "taxi" which is a pick-up truck with easy to use steps leading to the bed where seats are on each side. The ride is fun and allows you to take in the beauty of the forest as you descend a steep road to the cave. Tips are strongly encouraged for the driver, but we were not prepared with cash, so it was a bit awkward climbing off without giving that tip. Once at a table, the menu is typical bar/saloon food and not anything special. I think that is very unfortunate, because with a great menu to match the environment, it would certainly be a truly special outing. That said, if you are expecting so-so food, but a very cool situation to eat it in, you will not be disappointed. Lastly, if it is cooler weather, be certain to dress for it. The cave is very, very cool when the sun goes down. I am happy we visited, but unlikely to go back again.

What an interesting place! I can quite honestly say I have never experienced anything like it! The truck ride down to the cave restaurant and back up was pretty insane but I imagine better than walking. We were seated immediately at 4:30 on a Saturday and knew we had to wait until 5:00 for beer to be served. Service was fast - food came out quick but both our dinners were lukewarm - I suppose what we paid was worth the experience but why not do better and serve better food if you're doing it anyway? One and done visit - everyone should visit once, just don't expect anything much!

I am Davey L. Rich, the "Burger Man" from the Best Burgers in America Association out searching for the best burgers across the country... I was invited to this awesome place to score a burger for them, and they have a great-tasting burger. I scored their burger 8.5. The Manager, Nick, and his staff are awesome and friendly. If you have never been to Rattlesnake Saloon, you have to go and experience it at least once in your lifetime. It is a neat experience to add to your Bucket List. Thanks, Nick. Great Job!

Definitely worth a try and a beautiful place to enjoy a lunch, dinner and live music. You will find bikers, Cowboys and girls, and tourists from all around as they take in this unusual dining experience Service was great and food was mediocre. Probably a little pricey for the quality and taste but we had a good time despite the food not being the best.

This restaurant made for such a fun girls day! We made the trip for the atmosphere more than anything and enjoyed sitting outside and watching the trucks take people un and down the hill. The food was common, hamburgers and hot dogs and such, but was very yummy! Service was quick and the waitress was pleasant. Definitely a place everyone should experience at least once!

Located at the Seven Springs Lodge. When you arrive, it appears you're visiting a campground. Have no fear, you're in the right place. Park and wait for the "taxi" . This place is all about the atmosphere. The restaurant itself is in a cave with live music. It's a unique experience and definitely worth a visit. There's nothing "special" about the food, but decent otherwise. *They don't serve alcohol until 5pm.

To much hype. Interesting surroundings but the food was cold and unappetizing . The burger was dry as if sitting around for a while before being served. Wait staff was slow and not many people at the time we showed up. Bathroom had no paper towels to dry hands. Nope never again
