Ramey's Family Restaurant

Good solid hometown diner. Had breakfast and food was good - eggs, bacon, hash browns, biscuit & gravy. Decent coffee but only coffee mate creamer so I drank it black with some sugar. Our waitress was very sweet, on top of things and attentive. She even surprised my husband with a serving of something that he asked about just so he could try it (chocolate gravy - it's like a warm chocolate pudding). We are traveling and should we be in the area again we will come back. The prices are incredibly reasonable too, half the amount we would have paid at home for the same type of food.

We have eaten at Rameys many times when we have been in this area. It is a country restaurant with awesome food. The sausage cheese omelet is really GOOD. sometimes they even have a shrimp boil and it is good as well. In fact it is more than you can actually eat. The pies are all homemade. The family restaurant is exactly that, family and good food.
