Quacks

Quacks is a fantastic little gem in the heart of Oxford! This sports bar has a cool, laid-back vibe that makes it the perfect place to unwind and catch a game. During my visit, I ordered a New York-style hotdog, and it was absolutely delicious! While I can't say for certain how authentic the New York style was, the combination of sauerkraut, onions, and mustard definitely hit the spot. The atmosphere is welcoming, making it a great place to relax with friends or cheer on your favorite team. I highly recommend checking out Quacks if you're in the area--great food and good times await!

What's with these college towns not reviewing their local spots? OK, fine. We'll do it... We decided to take a trip down the road to Oxford to check out the local food scene, starting with Quacks.I mean who doesn't love a good hotdog while watching sports and drinking beer? Hopefully you love it because that pretty much sums up Quacks. Not much else to it.Luckily that's a winning formula since the game was a good one and the hotdogs (and brats) were quite tasty. I love Quacks! I have gotten good her twice and just got a to go order. Everything has been so good and I love idea of special. The French fries are seasoned well.

My husband, my parents and I went to Quacks for lunch the day before a big ball game. When we arrived, there were hardly any people there. We were quickly able to order drinks and food. Within about 10 minutes, the place was packed. Our food arrived in a timely manner, but my fried chicken sandwich was black. I asked to send it back and get another one. The server said "yes, but that's the way we do it." What?? It's not a blackened chicken sandwich. It's a BURNT chicken sandwich. He took the sandwich, and then NO ONE EVER CAME BACK TO THE TABLE. We sat there for 30 minutes and eventually had to hunt someone down in order to pay our check. Thankfully, my husband had ordered two corn dogs, and they were big enough for us both to have one. Otherwise, I guess I would have gone hungry. Corn dogs were delicious. My parents enjoyed their food. But how do you just not come back to a table??They need to be better staffed, especially when it's a game weekend!

This establishment is top tier! The food is amazing. (i recommend the seattle dog) The one KING working was so so kind and angelic. The building was precious! My son harold THOROUGHLY enjoyed this meal!!!

Why cover if no people? Good hotdogs though. Drinks are pretty potent and staff is fairly quick
