Proud Larry's

To be honest I'm highly disappointed, the atmosphere I would give a 4 1/2 five star , location would be an absolute five star but you lost me at the portion of the meat versus bread ratio I would have to give it a two star. I'm also highly disappointed from the bartender, weak pours with disappointed expectations. Food is somewhat tasty but I certainly would like to see more meat in my Philly cheesesteak

Really enjoyed my taco salad and service at Proud Larry's! My husband got the chicken bacon ranch pizza which was also great!

Cool place. Great service. Went during move in and sat right down. Food was great and the atmosphere was really cool.

This is my favorite music venue in Oxford. Always a great show at Proud Larry's. And the food is pretty good too and great to eat dinner before the bands start.

The service was superb. I ordered a chicken bacon salad and it came quickly. It was so good!! The bread was the best!! Best salad I've had in a long time. Nice cozy setting.

Live music is great and staff is always very friendly. It can get very busy so sometimes it's a little longer of a wait for food or to be seated but it's always delicious

Burger was good! Sweet Potato Fries (1st order) were burned to a crisp! Both of our orders! Inedible! Got our waiters attention he did order us second orders! They were what should have come out 1st However took forever both sandwiches were almost gone! Then came back to see if we were ready for our tickets but got sidetracked and took about 20 minutes to get his attention so we could pay ! Service for the initial food order etc was good, my burger was cooked perfect! But I'm nit sure how the cook actually put those fries on the plates with a good conscience! Might go back but probably not my 1st choice!

I took my daughter and granddaughter there for lunch and everything was great! The service from our waiter was great and the food was very good The hamburger wax perfect

I've dined at Proud Larry's enough to expect trend over substance. Many people go for the chill vibe and live music. I generally go for the patio seating (the first in Oxford, many, many moons ago). The menu has a decent variety of traditional bar food + salad and pizza options. The prices are fair and service is generally good.This visit, however, was a bit disappointingFirst off, on a Thursday at opening (11am), there was no wait. I opted for a patio seat and was greeted within five minutes (not as quick as I would have expected given there was only one other table in the restaurant).I ordered a soda and a Margherita pizza. The pizza was not as expected. The "fresh basil" was almost nonexistent and the tomato was chopped. The crust was hard and flavorless. The menu was somewhat limited compared to previous visits.Secondarily, construction work was going on overhead and it (some white substance) was landing all over my table, personal items, and food. When i brought it to the waitress's attention, she didn't apologize, offer a patio umbrella or anything else. I ultimately decided to leave since I wasn't enjoying the food anyway. I'll probably be back if for no reason other than location, but this particular visit wasn't good.

Always love to stop by Proud Larry's in Oxford for a beer and fries. Good service, good vibes
