Update. I was contacted by them and they explained their mistake and made it right. My wife took my mom this time and she said they weee very nice. I called yesterday morning to get an appointment for my mom, who is 85, and has an eye infection. It's hard for her to get around because she fell and broke her back last year. I had just gotten her home from the a very early spine clinic appointment where she had received a nerve block for bad sciatic nerve pain as a result of that break. We got back from that appointment and it was just after 9am (see photo). I called Primary Eye Care of Arlington to ask if they take Medicare primary and blue cross secondary and that my mom has a possible eye infection They said they did take them and said they had an opening that afternoon (yesterday). The spine doctor had said her leg may be weak for the rest of the day, so I asked about the next morning. The lady said they had an opening at 9am the next morning and I said that was perfect. She asked for all my mom's info and said we were set for 9am tomorrow. Well l, this morning I put my mom in her wheelchair and get her into the vehicle and drive her to primary eye care of Arlington. I get her out and take her inside. The lady at the front desk tells me we don't have an appointment. I told her that was impossible. She said they were booked up until into September and that nobody there would have told me that or given us an appointment for today. I doubt myself and check the number that was called yesterday. I ask if 867-5540 that is their number and she said it was. I touch the number on my phone screen from my call history from yesterday and their desk phone rings. (See pjoShe is adamant that we don't have an appointment and that nobody would have given us that appointment. She said that the first available they had was on September 20th, a month away.... for an eye infection. That is ridiculous. I had to try to explain to my mom that they wouldn't see her and get her back in the vehicle and take her home. This is very unfortunate because this location is convenient to where we live.

Dr. Nanji and her staff are wonderful! They do a thorough job; you don't have to wait long for your appointment; and they discuss all of your options and answer any questions you have. I feel completely comfortable with them and have never had a problem.

I don't have vision insurance so I called ahead to get the cost of a contact lense exam. The cost was so close to vision insurance I decided to self pay. However, my final cost was $100 more than I was quoted. when I asked about this I was told they must've not known it was for contact lenses, but I was very clear about that when I called. That said the doctor was very knowledgeable and nice.

Only go to Primary Eye if you want to be treated like an unruly toddler. The staff was rude and condescending. Specifically, Eli shamed me for not throwing away my daily contacts every day and told me if I didn't stop wearing them for 3 days, I might have to get my eye removed and it's a very bloody surgery. I was shocked at the lecture I got while I sat in silence. And don't even attempt to try on glasses. First, their inventory sucks and secondly they require you to keep your mask on while you try them on. Good luck deciding which ones look good when half of your face is covered. I'm never going back.

If you want an office that doesn't back the products they sell then this is the place for you! I will never take my son or myself back to this office after the horrible customer service we received on 3/29/2021. My son received a faulty pair of OVO replacement frames that were very expensive. When they broke again due to OVOs poor craftsmanship, neither OVO or this office backed their products. Instead I was offered the 'opportunity' to spend more of my hard earned money. No thank you. I will make sure to tell my friends to stay away from here as well.

I dont like to post anything negative about a local business to start. I have to due to poor customer service. A clerical error on my prescription caused me to order contacts that are not for me. They were very nice and helped me fix my prescription but told me they couldnt help I ordered the prescription they gave me. I gave them a chance today to make it right and was told unless they order the contacts for me they cant help??? The office visit was great but make sure you know how to read and understand a prescription before visiting this location. Its all on you once you leave. All I could speak to is the receptionist? I agree to shop local but after this experience I will not be shopping eye care local in Arlington TN. JP Peeler
