Why this isn't the #1 place to eat in Newport is a shock! Don't miss this restaurant/bar for amazing, elevated food and great craft cocktails. Their in-house made vodka is delicious- I even bought three of their four pack flavor small bottle gift packs for Christmas gifts. The ambiance is amazing - the owners and even the other guests were so friendly and welcoming. We ended up making friends with the table beside us!!! The food is next level. If this was in any major city, it would be the go to trendy restaurant. Go here if you are within an hour drive, it's worth it!!Support small businesses- they are the backbone of America

We was passing through and looking for a place to eat and get a drink and looked at yelp and this place popped up. It did not disappoint. The owners are so kind and informative about the history of the town and building. The food and drinks are fabulous and the prices and great. We will make the trip again just to talk to the people. You will regret driving past this. Stop and try! Best thing you'll ever do!

We stopped in while passing through because we had to see the Trump Vodka. Very cool atmosphere and awesome owners. Ross and Lua are awesome folks. The vodka is very good, similar to an orange dreamsicle. I can't wait for the new flavors to arrive.

We had so much fun visiting Postmaster Spirits! The owners, Ross and Lua, were so hospitable. We chatted with Ross about the history of the post office while he took us on a tour of the building. After the tour, we sat at the bar to try a Trump Tonic Cocktail. I had a Golden TT which was delicious! So I had another. They have a nice beer list and my husband, who doesn't drink hard alcohol, enjoyed the German beer he chose. The original intent for our visit was to see where Trump Tonic is made and to bring home the new Mmm Peach. We did that but we also feel like we made new friends. Thank you for your hospitality, Ross and Lua!

Delicious food and excellent service in a fun setting. A real gem, worth driving the extra distance from Batesville or Jonesboro.

What a gem in Newport! A historic post office (1915) that has the vibrant spirits and decor of days of yore. A must see, not just for the visuals, but the marvelous people that keep this place the center of everything in Newport. Charlotte and her sister serve up the worlds best Vietnamese egg rolls, and Ross is a compendium of postal (and historical) knowledge. They absolutely made our night in Newport and I cannot say enough good things about Postmaster Spirits and it's keepers of good times. And those egg rolls..... damn delicious!!

Outstanding place, a must see! The owner is very knowledgeable of the historic significant of the post office that his distillery now houses. He gave us a personal, spur of the moment tour of the building. His brews are amazing! Bring them to Texas!
