Smoking area - right outside your room?
You might wake up to this outside your room.
Gross sheets. Stained and threadbare. Beds feel like they're 50 years old.

This place was great. Clean rooms, lovely breakfast with sausages, eggs and biscuits and gravy and it's a cute spot

Worse hotel I have ever booked. Shabby furniture, dirty appliances, over whelming smell of bleach, back missing from tv remote, terrible television reception. The staff was on assistance, needless to say we did (could) not stay. Hotel refuses to communicate with Expedia reservation personnel for refund. Please don't waste your money.

We stayed here for two nights. It's one of the more less shady places in the area in my opinion. The staff was super friendly. The rate was not unreasonable. It was quiet enough for us.The bathroom was decent. The beds were decent. Not the cleanest or well maintained room, but decent. (The AC on our room was missing a cover, kinda dangerous.)Breakfast was a big MEH.. frozen biscuits for us to heat up? That's just lazy folks. But again, not the worst place to stay in the area.

I cannot recommend this hotel. It's definitely a lower tier facility. The rooms reek of cigarette smoke. The grounds are not clean. There was loud music late into the night and people drinking outside their rooms. I woke up with some kind of bug bite on my hand that wasn't there the night before, and breakfast consisted of individually wrapped danishes, yogurt cups, granola bars, etc...if you're just desperate for a bed for the night and anything will do, then ok. But if you require something along the lines of a BW...you'll be disappointed with this place.

As this was the only hotel in Millington that allowed our pug to stay with us, we had no other choice. They charged us $85 a night PLUS $50 for pet fee. I wouldn't have mind paying that if our room didn't smell like cigarette smoke covered in cheap musky cologne. I think we all got second hand smoke just from staying there. The furnishings are old as well as the sheets and towels. My husband informed the front desk about the smell but they claim it never smelt like that. I highly DO NOT recommend.

Okay place. Clean and spacious room with fridge and microwave. Workout room was small with only a treadmill and ski machine. Has an outdoor pool, which I did not use. Very quiet, hardly anyone else was there--I felt like I had the place to myself. No odd smells or anything like I've encountered at other hotels.

I enjoyed my one night stay! The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the room was nicely furnished. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Without us making the request, they gave us two rooms next to each other---one for the family in our party. The breakfast was great. If any of us travel to this area again, we would definitely stay here. (4 stars because the blue-ish lighting made me mildly nauseous.)

The customer service here is great. The people are so sweet and obliging. My first room they gave me was very clean only problem A/C wasn't working properly. I gave a few hrs just in case it was just turned on in the room and due to it being so hot I figured give it a little while. Well it never cooled down. So I went to the front desk and let them know and they immediately changed my room to next door so it wasn't difficult for me to move my stuff and they told me to check it out first and make sure it was cool enough. Well as soon as walked in, it def was cold enough and I even turned the a/c to make it colder and it got even colder. The price is affordable. I was here for a VA appointment I had to come back for and the other hotels prices were so high even with the military discount.I have stayed at some hotels during my travels that have cost more and were gross and when I mean gross you didn't even want to use their shower. This place the tub sparkles. You can tell they take pride in their rooms. Oh and out of hotels I have stayed at here in Memphis including the peabody, Hyatt and Ramada this one has the best water pressure the only thing those has on this one was the beds. The only reason they dint get 5 stars from me was due to the beds they are not bad just older and with my back issues a little to stiff for me. But I figure if they had the high end mattresses the prices wouldn't be so affordable so I say 4 and half stars

Disgusting hotel and lousy service. They charge you an extra $35 for a pet, even if you pre-pay. It is not posted on Expedia that there is an extra charge, nor is it posted anywhere in the lobby. Also, the sheets were dirty, floors were black when I wiped up a water spill, everything is dilapidated, fridge didn't work, and no cell service or WiFi. Worst hotel I've ever stayed at. (Also, non-refundable, or I would have bailed.)

Recently, my wife, kids, and I had to travel to the area for a funeral. We saw this great deal and decided that it would be best in this finincial climate. Upon inspecting the location further we learned that not all is as it seems. Apparently mold is rampant througout the hotel along with several fire alarms and other mechanical issues not to mention the stench and terrible communication barrier. Before we submitted our family to this, we figured it would be best to just cancel and look elsewhere. Priceline was more than acommodating considering the situation but unfortunately the Owner refused to give us a full refund. When asked why he stated that it had to do with the 48hr policy we made the reservations the day before arrival and there would be no way to cancel in enough time. Based on what was seen this place should probably be condemned. I would definately not recommend doing business with this type of establishment. s
