I'm pleased to have been introduced to one of the best pizza joints in the Jonesboro area. A friend of mine had previously tried this place, cueing my interest. The exterior of this restaurant can be easily overlooked in the vast sea of strip mall storefronts. It certainly doesn't look like much from the outside. However, when you walk into the place, you're met with the wonderful aroma of years of baked pizzas that has permeated the interior. My friend and I shared the 16" Chef's Abbondanza pizza. I could tell that the deliciously fresh crust had been made from dough in-house. Its texture was perfect. The topping ingredients were plentiful and tasty, which included: cheese, Canadian bacon, beef, Italian sausage, pepperoni (none on my half), mushrooms, black olives, green and red peppers, white and red onions, and sliced tomatoes. Given the high quality of the pizza, $26.29 (before taxes) was a reasonable price. Except for a small slice that my friend took home with him, we ate the entire thing at the restaurant.I would favorably compare and put this eatery on par with Milano's Pizza in Collierville, Tennessee. That's saying a lot, as I'm pretty picky about my pizza. For most of our meal, we were the only customers eating inside, so service was very attentive. We were there mid-afternoon on a weekday. I would imagine that evening and weekends can get pretty busy. I appreciated that most of the tables had metal rest racks for the hot pizza pans.Fans of the St. Louis Cardinals professional baseball franchise will be pleased with all of the sports memorabilia that adorns the walls of this pizzeria. Sports were playing quietly (thankfully) on the t.v. during my meal.Don't wait for your bill to be brought to your table. When you're finished, just mosey on up to the cash register to pay. Use cash to avoid paying their credit card usage fee. (According to the restaurant's takeout menu, they offer a 20% discount to ASU students who are interested in either dining-in or picking up.)I plan on returning here the next time that I'm in the area, and in the mood for pizza. This really seems like quite a valuable, hidden gem within Jonesboro.

Me and my coworkers love this spot. It has a great dining experience waiting with every trip to this location. Awesome fresh ingredients coupled with wonderful tasting dough create unique pies that we keep coming back for.It can get busy and parking is sometimes hard to find, but there's a vacant lot down from the place where the old Wendy's used to be, so don't let a packed house keep you from enjoying one of the Gems of Jonesboro!

I had forgotten about this little local gem! We stopped in on a Saturday night and I was surprised to see how crowded it was. It's a small, seat-yourself restaurant with homemade doughs, breads, sauces, and dressings. The staff isn't overly friendly; more of a what-you-see-is-what-you-get type of attitude. I honestly dont mind that if my food is good.We started with a small antipasto salad. I enjoyed the fact that the ingredients were fresh and not canned. The small was plenty for my husband and I to split as we waited for our pizza. The wait for our pizza was a long one (45+ mins) however, it was well worth it! We ordered the Meat Grande. It was piled full of various meats. It was one of those pizzas that is piping hot and when it separates from the pan, it is still connected by gooey, stringy cheese. The cheese stretch factor game was strong! I tried to let it cool a bit before diving in but it just looked too good. The flavor was outstanding, not much sauce which is perfect in my book. The crust had a bit of a crunch but soft inside. (We had a few pieces leftover and I'm happy to report that they are just as good for breakfast as they were for dinner!) Honey jars are placed on every table so you can enjoy dipping that last bite of crust into honey. Dinner and dessert all in one meal! I won't be forgetting this place any time soon and plan to visit frequently! (Delivery and carry out are offered, as well.)

** Updated Review **Originally I had given this place 3 stars, but after reconsideration I'm going up a star. The reasons for the upgrade:1. Upon reconsideration, there are more toppings than the average pizza place, so I can't fully feel comfortable with my previous comments regarding toppings. I still don't say it's smothered...but it's above the average place.2. The pizza excels at the bachelor "cold pizza" test. Even two days after ordered and in the fridge, the pizza is still good. It even heats up well in a microwave (which I don't prefer to do, I prefer my pizza stone, but if you're in a hurry you do what you have to do.)So overall, it's a 4 star place for me. The calzone still drives it down and there WAS a lack of toppings in that calzone. But I would put this ahead of chain stores now.

Once again, Pizza Chef knocked it out of the park. The ingredients of the pizza were so fresh and complimented each other so well. The crust was great. I don't think I'll be looking anywhere else to satisfy my pizza craving. Do not pass up a chance to eat the best pizza in our town!!!!
