If you're looking for hand-made crafts, and you're in Memphis when the Fair happens, you must visit! They don't allow the factory stuff here. Most everything is hand-made and original. Now that Covid is over, they have almost gotten back to the large number of vendors they have had in the past. Plenty of free parking right in front... just be patient getting in and out please!

I am usually browsing and buying at this event every year; but this time, in an attempt to avoid buying everything in sight, I was a volunteer. I have to say, though, there were too many nice things to pass up - and I wasn't able to resist this beautiful handmade gold bracelet that was just calling my name. This crafts fair is enormous and has some of the most amazing crafts and jewelry I've ever seen. They also have plenty of food booths, so come hungry! I had a piece of Coletta's cheese pizza and corn on the cob which definitely hit the spot.If you have the chance, definitely check this out - today is the last day for this year's fair and it's going on until 5.

One of the largest arts and crafts fairs in the area, hundreds of artists, and vendors display their craft here each fall. They have fun activities for kids, live entertainment and food. I love to go to see handmade jewelry and pottery. I always pick up a cross or piece of pottery for my house. The weather this time of year is usually very mild and Audubon Park is a beautiful park. It makes for a great day outdoors in the Mid- South. This year's event will be held:Thursday, October 7 10 am to 6 pm Friday, October 8 10 am to 6 pm Saturday, October 9 10 am to 7 pm Sunday, October 10 10 am to 5 pm Admission Prices are: Adults $7 Seniors $5 Children $3This year's festival will be held

The Pink Palace Craft Fair is a fun event for the whole family. There are attractions for every age. There is a padding zoo with the cutest baby-pig ever. It takes place at the Audubon Park, which is a wide and open spaced green park close to a golf place. Even when there are a lot of people the fair is not crowded. So do not be afraid of losing your child in a horde of people. But do plan to stay there the whole day. You can choose from a wide range of food, kids can ride a little locomotive and there are trampolines and climbing walls as well - and of course vendors. Many one can buy art and decorative elements here. There are a lot of wood and metal installations for outdoor decoration. The second most frequent good is jewellery. But one can not only buy handmade goods but also watch how they are made. There is a tent just for demonstations. Here you can learn how to carve or kntt. That is so much fun. The entrence to the fair is about six Dollar. It is a fair price. Next to the entrance is a big parking spot, too. In 2014 the fair took place in October so when the fall weather is a little bit unsteady, one might have to think twice about going, because there is barly anything covered. But when the sun is shining, please do not hesitate. It really is a lot of fun. And do try the cherry lemonade (yammy). You can read more about this fair and see more pictures on my blog: http://www.marktwelten.de/42-pink-palace-craft-fair-photos/
