Absolutely one of my favorite places! If you want friendly service from people that almost feel like family serving delicious food, this is your place! While they have an extensive menu to include chicken and shrimp prepared different ways, I have been unable to get passed the fried catfish and, my absolute favorite SMOKED catfish! The plates include amazing hush puppies, fried okra and a tasty coke slaw! When in town, I have been known to eat here 4 times in one weekend - and they are only open Friday, Saturday and Sunday! Try this place and enjoy true southern hospitality delivered with delicious southern cuisine!

Awesome little hole in the wall, locals restaurant. I will definitely visit again when I'm in TN. The owner was very friendly and enjoyed telling me the history of this little place. Awesome hush puppies and catfish.

This is the quintessential roadside eatery, located in the middle of nowhere, tiny and cozy, a place the locals know well, and the most impeccable catfish you will ever eat! There is something magical about going on a Friday night in the middle of the winter, freezing outside and pleasantly warm inside this tiny hut that you'd never know had such amazing food if you just drove right by.The catfish comes straight out of the ponds on the property, impossibly fresh, flaky and tender, literally falling off the bone. The crispy batter perfectly balances the tender meat, and they'll keep bringing you unlimited amounts of catfish until you've had enough. The nearby Catfish Hotel seems to be more famous, but their catfish pales in comparison to Pickwick Catfish Farm.As a bonus, the cole slaw is so flawless and fresh, it's the only one I'll eat on the planet! The people are very friendly and the atmosphere is classic Southern. Some of the best food in the world!!!

My favorite catfish place in the whole Corinth/Pickwick area. I use to come here years ago when the original owners had it. When it closed, it was a sad day. The new owners bought it from the family of the original, kept all the same recipes, and added a few special touches. First, the covered patio. It's spacious, open, has fans for warmer weather; it's perfect on a cooler summer night. Secondly, the smoked catfish. It's excellent. Now, I know most folks (myself included) are coming for fried catfish, but having tried it, I can say it is definitely worth a try. Tons of flavor, and probably (definitely) healthier than a plate of fried fillets. On our first return here after new ownership, my wife and I split that and a plate of filets just to, you know, "balance it out." It was a great choice. The fried catfish is some of the best, if not the best, in the entire Corinth/Pickwick area, and it's usually less crowded than, say, the Catfish Hotel. They start everything off with baskets of fresh hush puppies and fried okra, which adds bonus points. The hush puppies are fluffy, flavorful, and--unlike many hush puppies--moist and not too dense. A good dose of black pepper and onions, too, which I like. Service is relatively fast, and the owner is a really nice guy and great conversationalist. If you get the chance to meet him, ask him to tell the history of the place and how he came to be the new owner. It's fascinating. In short, The Catfish Farm has always been at the top of my list of catfish joints. After the new ownership took over, it's even better and should provide a staple stopover for the most discerning of catfish joint connoisseurs. I can't recommend it enough.

A local fixture on the way to Pickwick from Corinth for over 40 years. There are many good places in this area near the Tennessee River to enjoy fried catfish. I haven't thought about this place until I tried a really good smoked fish dip on a trip to Florida this past winter. It got me to thinking about smoked Catfish and I only recalled one place where I remembered that on the menu. I called months ago and they are closed during the winter, only open during summer months. In the days before the internet, their smoked catfish was featured in a book featuring unusual food finds and was mail ordered all over the country. This past weekend I saw a notice on Facebook where they were open again so I drove over and picked up an order of smoked Catfish. The smoked Catfish is delicious. The fish was moist, flaky and had a nice hickory smoke flavor which extended throughout the flesh. The standard french fries, slaw and hushpuppies were along for the ride. The hushpuppies were well done, heavy on onion but somewhat lacking in seasonings. For an unusual spin on a local favorite, I would highly recommend the smoked catfish. They have a nice covered patio where you can dine outside in addition to their regular inside dining room.

Our dinner tonight was delicious. We had chicken strips, boiled shrimp, catfish fillets, fiddlers, and whole smoked catfish. All of the food was amazing, but smoked catfish was a one of a kind experience. We will definitely be back. We wish this long time Pickwick family run restaurant continued success. Five stars

Great dinner tonight for 6 of us. We started with fried mushrooms and fried okra and hush puppies. Tons of food to share. For our meals, most of us got the sampler platters which were amazing. The best coleslaw in town! Catfish and shrimp were delicious as well! So much food! Service was amazing as well. This is a family owned restaurant and it was obvious that they cared about our business. We will definitely be back!

The food is great. Service is excellent. I am extremely fond of their greens and corn bread, for I could make a meal out of this.Their fish is excellent along with slaw and hush puppies. Plus their place is large and most often there is no wait which is great.Highly recommend this place for country style fish.

Really enjoyed the unique smoked catfish. The fried okra and hushpuppies were fresh and delicious. The coleslaw wasn't too sweet. My kids loved the fried catfish. The key lime pie was refreshing and not artificial tasting. Will definitely be back when passing through town. Owners and servers were friendly and kind!
