Just WOW!We just recently used Peppercorns catering services for our cast and crew while filming our non-profit film in Columbia about a week ago. Not only was the food fabulous but the customer service may be one of the best I've ever experienced. The food was ready on time and freshly made that morning!! They even brought it out in the freezing cold and put it in my car. The cast and crew RAVED about how delicious the food was and there wasn't a crumb left. Thank you so much for helping to feed our hardworking crew. 10/10

Great experience! Food was delicious. Service was great.I had THE RANGO sandwich (chopped brisket on a soft hoagie roll) with a side of Texas Fries. Everything was prepared fresh when I submitted my order. My food was seasoned perfectly. Portions were generous. I dined in. The dining room was clean and comfortable.Great experience!

This place is great! The ordering system is very modern using tablets and simply waiting for your order. The menu is full of Mexican inspired foods with some southern flare, and there's a little for everyone's tastes. The food came out very quickly and was absolutely delicious! We got the dude burrito which had a wonderful blend of Mexican and BBQ meat, loaded with sauce. We also got some chips with dipping sauce - our favorite was the queso. And we got a baja bowl which was nothing special but that's a good thing - was good, fresh, just what you'd expect. Love the relaxed take-out style vibes. Would 100% return or order from again

My wife and I met friends here for dinner one night and were blown away. At first, we were taken aback ... it's in commercial a strip mall and doesn't look like much. Then we walked in, and while it smelled good, to me it smelled more like a BBQ place than Tex Mex. We quickly learned not to let those impressions fool us... the food was incredibly good - full of flavor, and with Goldilocks and the Three Bears portions: not too big, not too small... just right. Other big plusses was that everything on the menu was reasonably priced, the staff was friendly, and the service was quick. The only thing that caught us off guard is that they aren't open on weekends. Being as it's 80 miles from where we live, it's going to make it hard to go back... and that's a shame because we really liked it and would love to show our support by going often. But if you live close to Columbia, TN or are just traveling through on any weekday but Monday, give Peppercorn Scratch Kitchen a try. I think you'll be glad you did.

50/50 on this place. The place is cute and clean but ordering in person is annoying with the kiosk. Would have been easier on my phone since the menu kept changing from breakfast to lunch and the kiosk doesn't have everything to view at the same time like a menu does. It was not busy so we took our time, but I could see waiting for people to order to be time consuming. The chips are 9/10, hot, fresh and crispy. The sauces and guacamole have good flavor. The refried beans are decently seasoned. The flour tortilla was 6/10, not super fresh, but better than most places and not gummy. The "carne asada" is bad. Honestly tasted like Taco Bell "steak". Chewy, weird tasting meat with no seasoning. Texture was like cubed stew meat that wasn't cooked all the way so it started to shred but was still chewy. Very expensive for what it is. Overall 6/10 with some great stuff, but that meat is terrible. Would try again with a different meat next time.

THIS PLACE!!! YUM. If you are in the Spring Hill or Columbia and you love tex mex hit this up ASAP! We were greeted as soon as we walked in. You order at a kiosk and get your food super quickly. We ordered the dip sampler with queso, jalapeño ranch, salsa, and guac. I could eat the jalapeño ranch with a spoon-- it is possibly one of the best things I have ever eaten in my life! Salsa and guacamole is super fresh! Queso is unique and delicious! Chips are thin, warm, and alllll the good kinds of crispy! (I hate restaurants with stale, sh*tty chips). I got the jefe salad which came with ample amounts of seasoned chicken and cheese. My boyfriend got a custom burrito with cheesy rice and his was super flavorful too. Great portions of meat and toppings.Staff was exceptionally friendly as well giving us extra chips and an extra side of queso because we thought we had ordered an extra side of it-- they definitely did not have to do that. They really know customer service! This place will really be on weekly rotation. I'm already thinking about all the other things I want to try!If you take away anything from this review let it be TWO words: jalapeño ranch. I may see if I can buy it by the gallon! Bury me with that shit.

The best Tex-Mex in greater Nashville. The owner is from Austin. If this place was in Nashville, there'd be an hour wait every night. Try the biscuit on anything.

I have to update my review. This place is soooo dangerous. It's right across the street from us and they've never failed us. This place is amazing, and the service is great. The food is absolutely delicious!!

We went here having heard good things about the food but didn't know what to expect. The food definitely tasted like it was from scratch. The Diablo bowl was excellent. The tortillas are made fresh there and they smoke their own meats as well. You can tell when you taste the food. Pricing was reasonable for what you get. The staff are some of the nicest and most proud we have encountered. Overall this is the best Tex Mex restaurant we have been to in the Spring Hill/Columbia area, possibly even in the Franklin area. A cut above the rest in food quality, taste, value, and service. Easy 5 stars.

I came for lunch and was thoroughly impressed. The atmosphere was cute and quaint. The service was fast and efficient. You place your order at a kiosk and the staff makes and delivers your food. The food is amazing. It tastes delicious and freshly made. I had a taco and a burrito with chips and guacamole as a side, and everything was exceptional. Even the chips and tortillas taste as if they were freshly made. Oh, and try the pineapple cream soda for a refreshing treat. I would definitely recommend this place.
