Penny's Pantry

Not many options on the menu. Went with a chicken salad on a croissant bun (it's not toasted, it's cold) and a tuna salad on wheat bun and a small side salad. That equaled $29. The serving sizes are small. They got one of our orders wrong, which was fine (We didn't say anything). Didn't have dessert or soup of the day when we went. Somewhat fast service. Front counter wasn't very friendly. The cook was extremely friendly and checked on us.

Everything they have is OUTSTANDING.High quality food. Just be sure to get there early. Once they run out, they're out.Thursday is cheesy chicken soup day. Thank me later.

We stopped at Penny's for lunch on our family road trip. We had the egg salad and the potato soup and corn bread special. Oh !! And a Mississippi mud pie! It was a cute little place with helpful friendly service. And delicious comfort food! I noticed they have casseroles to go! What a great idea for a quick dinner!! So happy we stopped!

I went there a month ago and Oh. My. Gosh. I has the best soup ever! I love Penny's Pantry. My friend's mom owns it. Please Please always give 5 stars to Penny's Pantry. It will make the employees, my friend, and her mom happy. They have brownies and they are the best thing ever!! If you can't find a job, this is a good place to work!

Went today and got a chicken salad sandwich and chips. Sandwich is good but for the money they didn't put much chicken salad on the sandwich. Friendly staff and clean place just need to add more to sandwhich for the cost. They also have a bunch of dessert options too.

Great chicken salad sandwich. The bread was soft and fresh. Seemed home made. It was very clean, and the staff was super friendly. Would recommend if you're in the mood for a great sandwich. Pasta salad was good also.

I visit this place At least 3 times A week, the desserts are great along with the soup of the day.

Pretty fixed menu focussing on mayo and cheese based sandwiches like chicken salad, tuna salad, pimento and cheese etc. Can get a combo comprising of any two soup, salad, and sandwich. Quaint interiors and very friendly staff. Good for a quick lunch which is not fast food. This place also sells pre-made dinners and also caters.

I enjoyed it very much..the food is pretty homely which isn't necessarily a bad thing..all in all a good experience..I'll definitely be back!!

Their food is wonderful, usually. My favorite is their chicken salad, but its quality varies. Some days it is smooth and creamy. Other days it's chunky, like eating pebbles. Their soups are great and the customer service is friendly and efficient. I just wish the same person always made the chicken salad.
