Bill and Sue Welling .... Really great people.
I took this pic 5-8-22 on Mother's Day. Lots of wildlife too.

First of all, I read the policies before reserving here, and I understood, and I agreed. We were attracted to the positive tone towards veterans as my husband is a Retired Marine and I served many years in the Corps. Well, our tow vehicle broke down outside Memphis, TN late Saturday, our arrival date and mechanic cannot get fuel pump until Monday.....absolutely nobody's fault, certainly not Parker's RV park. According to the policy, they get to keep every cent of our money. Doesn't seem as though that is in keeping with the CLICK BAIT on their web site: "Please remember the sacrifices our Armed Forces and First Responders make for us everyday and take a moment to thank them for their services to our country and us. ...Remember freedom isn't free, etc...." I'm not asking for special treatment, just wondering why they have the nerve to print that and tell me, sorry, that's our policy. Wouldn't be a bad thing to remove those misleading words if you can't help a veteran in need of a small request. The woman on the phone did offer to move our reservation one day, but the truck would not be repaired for two days; just wouldn't work. Easy veteran money for them. I'm thinking about pulling into the campground on our way through just to see if they actually thank veterans for their service?!Two stars because the woman on the phone was nice. Minus 3 stars because no other site has ever kept every penny from a traveler who had to shell out lots of time and money on a break down and couldn't make it to the park. I simply will never reserve with another park who promises to keep ever penny of prepaid dollars if the traveler has an emergency; every other park on our cross country route was able to adjust with our break-down. None took our money for adjusting!!

We only stayed one night as we traveled eastward home. It was very nice and there was room for our 37 foot Travel Trailer. The property is under fairly new ownership and many improvements are being accomplished. The lake is beautiful and there is room for children to explore and enjoy. We will return as we continue to travel. Thank you for your hospitality.

This is a Great place to stay. The owners, Bill and Sue Welling, are the most gracious host and hostess ever. They have a high standard for this park and keep it very well maintained. There is a nice little pond with ducks and geese......they even allow catch and release fishing. There is a pool to cool off in for this summer weather. If you need laundry done....they have you covered there also with on-site washers and dryers. There is areas to pitch a tent, a couple cabins and even an AirBNB. Lots of attractions close by. Children friendly with a play area and pet friendly You will love your stay here.

This was a little slice of Heaven! The owner/operators were absolutely lovely. It was a neat park, with a beautiful lake stocked with fish for catch and release. The bathrooms were clean and pleasant! We wished we could've stayed longer. We would absolutely stay here again for longer than our single night stop over. Thank you!!!

Easy access to park off exit 180. Park is clean and manicured. Even the gravel sites are well formed without ruts or puddles. We particularly enjoyed the 18 acres of walkable green with our dog. A big fishing pond too. Streamable wifi and quiet at night. Definitely a must if in the area.

We booked our reservation in January 2024 for June 21,2024 departing June 23,2024 In January when I reserved our reservation. I was promised a pull through being we have a 40 ft Rv, and we are new driving it. We get there, and the employee said , no pull throughs available, I explained that, I was assured we would have one. She said they didn't have any, they actually did have two that could have worked. She said they only had backends. Not very professional, and when the owner put us up on a hill, that had a steep drop off, I was shocked. He also told my husband that I was a Doozy. I felt that was very rude.. My husband defended me, and explained that I was upset because we were promised a pull through. Also he asked, everything good, I told him, why I wasn't happy and he said, that's the way it is,. I don't write reviews very often, but if having a pull through and a good attitude is important, skip this place....

As Californian's traveling the country, we always enjoy our time spent in Tennessee - it's the friendliest state ever! True to their state, this RV park exceeded all expectations in insuring our every need was met, and I must admit, we were kinda a pain in the ass. The park is drop dead gorgeous, beautiful big RV sites, and the fishing pond was the biggest and best we've seen! One can tell there's a lot of time, labor, and money spent in this park's beautification. Thank you SO much for having us!! Steve and Michelle

Wonderful rv park . A fishing pond, a dock to relax or fish, and a wonderful gazebo with a swing and a view of the pond. A pool but the wonderful staff makes everything complicate. I can say my wife enjoyed our time hear and will be back.
