Stopped by at 5:00 on a Sunday . The building is cute with lights around the outside .. Service was quick and straight to the point, very casual . We got fried pickles and Nashville hot chicken plates which is the culprit behind my review .. although the chicken is good , good quality and decently priced , the NASHVILLE HOT IS HOT HOT. I've had Nashville hot chicken everywhere in this state and the next and it was almost uncomfortably hot . Didn't know what I was getting myself into. The Honey mustard couldn't even save me and the supposed-to-be sweet tea I think was mistakenly unsweetened which happens . So basically, if you're going for the Nashville hot just brace yourself and get some milk first because I wasn't able to eat very much of it .

Stopped by to say the quality of chicken and care taken at this place with your food is the best up and down Nolensville Rd. Six new chicken places joined us over the last 18months and somebody who's done numerous written food reviews (and a real chicken snob ) Have to say for sure the best quality chicken and service. Eat it there if you can as on long journey all breading gets soft and soggy from anywhere, but for me the perfect spot for on the way home or a pop in dollar for dollar!

Visited for the first time and learned I was a little overdressed. This is a very, very casual spot. Very small and tight on the inside. I had a salad with grilled chicken. The portion was very nice, the salad was pretty good. Service was ok, not super friendly at all.

The food was good. Not great. Pricing was good. Portions were good. Great location. The inside looks appropriate but lacks space. The service was top notch. The workers were aware of everything going on inside, and they constantly were cleaning and making sure the restaurant was tidy. I'd go back.

Great chicken away from the craziness of central Nashville. The hot chicken tenders were super juicy and the breading was excellent. Not sure if they have different levels of spice, I wasn't asked. What I got was hotter than I expected but worth the pain! The fries were very flavorful and a perfect complement to the chicken.

When I relocated to this area of the county I was already a fan of McDougal's near Vandy in Nashville, and this location was a McDougal's then. The name has changed (can someone tell me why?), but the menu is similar and the chicken remains good.Tenders are good sized and there are nearly 20 sauces or seasonings from which you can select. My greatest anxiety is wanting to try something new, but knowing the traditional ones are there for a reason. 3 tenders gets 2 sauces and 5 tenders gets 3 options. Decisions, decisions, decisions.They have Buffalo fried mac n cheese balls. My first bite - not a fan, but then the flavors meld together and you know you're gonna eat another one. I can also vouch for the wings and tender sandwich. Yes, there's now a McDougal's up the road in Maryland Farms, but mile-for-mile; this place is closer (although Nolensville traffic can get bad in that area).

Real good southern comfort food made with whole ingredients without the additives. That's a hard thing to find. This spot is just the place though if you're looking for both of those in one restaurant. I had buffalo and lemon pepper boneless wings, absolutely incredible. Also, do not sleep on the Mac & cheese bites with habanero ranch. The service is friendly and fast, and feels like a real local business (because it is). Looking around at the environment, you can tell you're in the right place for some simple southern food made right. Definitely check this place out now if you haven't been. I'll definitely be back soon.

These guys do Hot Chicken and Mac right!! The crunch and spice levels were top tier. Outlanders blows Hattie B's and Princes out of the water. Their hot chicken isn't just hot it's juicy and flavorful too! The owner and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The outdoor picnic tables and music were so much fun.The Mac balls with habanero ranch were melt in mouth good. You HAVE to go here! This place is hands down the best hot chicken in the Nashville area and so WORTH the drive.

First time in had fried pickles- so yummy deliscious.Really nice batter nice and crispy, with saltiness of pickle- these are some of the best ive had!Second time in - sorry no pics.We had a variety of the chicken tenders & wings w/diff sauces- everything was delicious! The sauce with honey was a fav, but all we tried were fabulous!Chicken was juicy yet crispy perfect.Both times we came in all employees were very friendly and helpful answering our questions.
