Osaka Japanese Cuisine

I love this place! It's so pretty with beautiful decor. Our waitress was so lovely with amazing hospitality, customer care and so much more. The food was great. I forget which roll I had ordered but it is the second hottest roll that they have and it was delicious. Who I was with had ordered plates of food and it was an extremely generous amount. It could feed two people with leftovers.This is going to be my "go-to" place in this area.

I hadn't eaten here in a while. Recently my family celebrated a birthday and this was my opportunity to try them out again. I had eve combination hibachi with steak, chicken, and shrimp. It was very filling and flavorful. I also had the pork potstickers. They were delicious and I loved the sauce that came with them. The steak in the rice was a little too overcooked for my liking, but otherwise great dinner!

Not much to add from previous reviews. This is my go to spot that's close to the house and has been consistent in taste and service for the years I've been a customer. It's a laid back atmosphere, with good food and consistent service.

The kids love sushi but they really love it with the fire. lol. They normally don't want one without the other. Today we compromised. They loved the bento boxes!!!! It was a lot of good food and they enjoyed every bit. The young lady that served us was amazing!! She was very attentive and helpful. The girls have been asking to return.

I have been a long time customer of Osaka, and every time I go, it is just as amazing as the last time. Even on busy nights, the wait isn't unreasonably long - usually it's never a long wait. Their gyoza is great, one of my favorite appetizers to order; the soups & house salads are a classic - a nice holdover until your main course arrives. I really love the Hawaiian fried rice! The shrimp fried rice comes with about 6-7 or so (more or less) big shrimp; I believe all fried rice has corn, which I think is an interesting addition. I love the lighting in the restaurant because it makes for a great date night, but also a casual weeknight dinner as well! The service is always great, from hostess to waitstaff, and the sushi chefs are all so friendly and make the experience that much better! I've never had a bad experience at Osaka, personally. Now there has been times when I'm not a fan of a sushi roll I got, but that's purely personal taste preference. What I also really love about Osaka specifically is that they provide half-roll portions & prices on many rolls. I often get 2 half rolls and 1 full roll so I getmore of a variety. I honestly don't know why the rating isn't higher on Yelp, nor why there isn't a higher reviewer count for such popular place. I love it and will continue to be a repeat customer! ^_^

I only come here for the shabu shabu! The best in the city. Well the only one. The soup bases are delicious! perfect for cold winter nights. I've tried all the soup base from seafood, Thai, Korean, and miso, all so delicious! I think it's a pretty good deal as well. It comes with all types of things to put in it. Service has always been good. Would def recommend to give it a try.

The WORSE EVER! I had a reservation for this place for 20 people on Sunday, we walked out! I'm sure maybe if people were being served maybe the food would've been excellent but the service was so horrible that a group of us had to find another restaurant to go to unfortunately! We were so looking forward to Japanese hibachi table & we did not have a hibachi table. With a huge, huge, huge disappointment.! I was assured that our reservation would be good 3 times going to the restaurant and talking to the people in person. Sunday came and went my reservation for 20 people turned into us walking out the door. I would never recommend this restaurant.

Food was decent, but my grandfather didn't get what he ordered, he ordered a seafood bento box and got a vegetable bento, it was still good, but i wish he would got what he wanted. Service was okay, we ordered 2 spring rolls and they were the size of my thumb! I wish they were bigger. Only come here if you want to get disappointed. I definitely won't be coming back, if you want Chinese just go to Friday Tuna. Friday Tuna is awesome!

We love Osaka and this one has a drive thru. Our favorite roll is the Florida roll! Don't sleep on the chicken nugget appetizer + Osaka sauce for dipping.

Just came in again for dinner since it was a special occasion. Had a party of 4 but the bill was split 2 and 2. Got auto grat. again and went up to the front this time to ask about the auto grat. rules and the lady at the front said it's only for parties of 6 or more. I explained that I have been auto grat. with a party of 2 and a party of 4 just now and I have no problem tipping 20% or more, but when there is greedy servers on sub par service I have an issue. After explaining the issue the lady upfront tried to add in "it can also depend on the amount of items you order" which is not stated anywhere in the restaurant, signs, menus, tables, anywhere. Again horrible service, greedy environment, auto grat up to the servers discrimination based on seemingly nothing since I keep getting auto grat. outside of the "stated" parameters for it. Would 100% recommend going somewhere else.
