I stopped by tonight to grab some clam chowder to go. Although I was told it would be "5-10" minutes, it took 28 minutes to come out. For something already made... That is a tad long to wait Was the wait worth it? Absolutely NOT! I wouldn't call this clam chowder. It was more like opaque potato water. This was thin and flavorless. You'd be better off buying canned chowder. Don't waste your time or money on this.

My husband and I recently went to Ocean Blue for a quick bite and a drink. The restaurant is conveniently located on Whitten Rd. and it is quite spacious. They take the nautical theme to the next level. Everything is decorated around that theme.We went around 8:30 on a Saturday and we were immediately seated. Though it is a seafood restaurant, we opted for the cajun wings. They were good! They came out smoking hot out of the grease and were well- seasoned!We also tried the Peach, Please and the Strawberry Hennessy. They were both pretty good. Everything was reasonably priced as well. The service was okay. They checked on us a couple of times. However, we didn't have to wait long for anything. I liked that they were not playing loud music like some of the restaurants do now. It was a relaxed environment. They just had a couple of large TVs playing the basketball game.I recommend it for families during the day and maybe as a first stop before a night out.

My wife and I came down to Memphis from Missouri for the Ray Park signing at 901 Comics East. We were looking for some spicy seafood and we found it! I got a boil with shrimp, snow crab, sausage, eggs, potato, and corn I got the Cajun spicy and I was not disappointed. My wife got a pound of crawfish also Cajun spicy, the crawfish were huge. Everything was very fresh the crab cracked with a crisp snap, even the corn was very fresh. I am excited for our next trip! One of the greatest parts was the service, our drinks never got half empty, and when we were ready to go they even wrapped up the left over boil so I could reheat it right. It stayed sealed up for the 4 hour car ride and our car doesn't smell like seafood!

If you love seafood boils, this is the place to go! I always order the famous low country boil with the ocean special sauce extra spicy. It's flavorful and not too spicy. I usually substitute the sausage for broccoli. The cheesestticks are also my favorite. Their drinks are strong, the times I've ordered some, you can really taste the liquor, but I'm not complaining.

The seafood at Ocean Blue is so fresh and delicious! The Blue Crabs were perfectly seasoned. Their lunch specials are very reasonably priced for the amount of food you receive. Ocean Blue is definitely one of my favorite cajun cafes. I love getting their Ocean Gumbo & piece of Key Lime Pie delivered from Waitr (i got $5 off with coupon code LOCAL5)

Absolutely loved this place! Stunned at the bad reviews, we had a great experience. Service was fast, food was excellent, and everything including drinks were fairly priced. I loved the vibe of inside too! We got snow crab legs, corn, potatoes, the fried cod, and drinks. We will definitely be returning!!
