Obento

The food was AMAZING! I had the teriyaki salmon bento and it was cooked to perfection!My family had the sweet spicy chicken and the pork katsu and they were very happy with everything. The service was so on point - very attentive! The ambiance of the restaurant was really warm and inviting with traditional decor. We will definitely be coming back frequently!!

Finally tried them. I ordered to go the 1 protein meal with chicken. Comes with salad and miso soup. Everything was good can't wait to go back.

Wow, we checked out Obento for dinner, which is owned by the the same owners Oishiya Hibachi & Sushi and it blew our socks off. First off, I got the Thai tea and it was the best I have ever had, they make it fresh in house (no powder) and it's to die for. We shared gyoza for an app, and I got a 2 meat 2 side bento box with terayaki chicken, curry katsu pork, shumai, and squid salad, and it came with rice, miso soup, and a ginger salad. Phenomenal, everything was delish. The vibe was so cozy and they have lo-fi music for ambiance. They deserve all the business. Ignore the Yamato sign, it's coming down soon.

First visit. Food was very hot, perfect textures, and very tasty. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area. Service was superb. Noise level is very quiet. I'll be back.

I've been here several times and they never disappoint. Their people are always really nice and the food is great. I'm totally addicted to their Tempura Crab! This is one of my favorite restaurants in Murfreesboro.

This place has excellent food! I got the steak bento box with tempura crab as a side and I wish I had gotten more of that tempura crab, it was so good! The steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare and the rice was very good too. I have tried their fried rice before and it was really good and very flavorful and so are their noodles! They are also super friendly there and it's a cozy place to eat with nice music.

Excellent service! The food was fantastic. We got the two protein with two sides. The pictures may not show it, but the serving is huge. The side salad was fresh and crisp and miso soup nice and hot. Great ambiance and neat set up. I will definitely be making a future trip!

I tried this place during a Costco run a few weeks ago and loved it. It is the sister restaurant to Oishya and every bit just as delicious and as good a value. The menu is straightforward, with the possibility of endless combinations. A great lunch or dinner spot to meet with friends, it's slightly more significant than its older sibling. I had the two-meat combo with sides, and it was delicious. In fact, with most of the appetizers available as sides, you can try many different things without spending a lot of money.

First, let me just say that all the staff were amazing! The food was incredible and I can not wait to go back. You get so much food for the price. I could overhear that the staff recognized other customers. It just shows they pay attention and really care about the people who come in. Whether you get take out or dine in, you're gonna be satisfied! I think you can tell by the photo we enjoyed it
