Oasis Hookah Lounge

As a person that travels and makes sure to visit hookah bars in each city, this may be the worst experience thus far. I've been to pricey hookah bars, but this one takes the cake! Or maybe the money I should say! There's a cover, why? I'm not sure. There's no live entertainment, nor is there a dance floor. I'm not really sure why there's a cover. The DJ is subpar at best. (That's me being nice.) It was pretty chilly outside. So there was a draft in the building. It took about a half hour to bring the hookah over. It didn't pull well. They were charging for new coals. But we were over it at that point. And all of this for $10/per person cover(2 of us), 1 $7 drink, and a $39 hookah! So a $70 check that also took them about 20 minutes to bring over. Needless to say, we won't be back! Hopefully Memphis has better places.

Last night I went here and me and my friend sat down and figured out what we wanted and we sat there for about 30 plus minutes waiting on someone to come and serve us, and take our order, Zachary came by and he asked if we had been waited on and we said no and he was like okay what would you guys like and we said we wanted purple haze and he walked off, we also wanted to add milk for an extra $2... he put the order in and just started to walk around came to us 3 times and told us our hookah would be ready in 5 minutes. I'm guessing his girlfriend was at the bar because he kept going and sitting by her and touching her, then he came back after telling us our hookah would be ready in 5 minutes to say he ran out of the hookahs that everyone else was using that we has to get a shitty hookah for an extra $2 that you have to hold the mouth peice while the other person smokes... so we did it of course just to be able to smoke hookah, he finally came out with our hookah and we sat there for a good hour watching everyone else's coals get changed and ours was nothing but ash. We were so done and didn't even want to pay because of the service we got a got up to pay and everyone there kept walking past us even zach the person who we were suppose to cash out with. Over all shitty service and they need better employees!!! Music was good tho better than minglewoods location but i prefer minglewood over cordova.
