Oasis Hookah Lounge

Guys listen.....this is different than the food and hotel spots I review but when I tell you it's worth giving them a tryyyyyy ( the vibe, the atmosphere, the drinks, the popcorn, music) ask for Rico or kiki they will garantee a good time and the service is on point!!!!

I haven't been to Oasis literally since 2014 when I turned 18 then I left for college and never got a chance to go again. I don't know if y'all been before they remodeled but it is only one room now. Not 2 like it use to be. But they def have made some very positive changes. THEY ARE NOW BLACK OWNED!! I was very happy to hear that. Spending my black dollars in a black establishment! The guy who check us in was very nice and personable and i told him that I was calling multiple times before I came to make sure they were open but their phone was disconnected so they should check that. But everything else was a vibeeee! The music was good. The hookah was pulling (20$ for 1 flavor) and me and my best friend damn near had the place to our selves. It's up the street from U OF M.Make sure y'all check them out.

The Oasis isn't really a club, so much as it is a smoking lounge. In order to get in, you have to be 18 years old and purchase a membership that's good for one year.Here's how it works: choose a tobacco flavor from the Oasis' list (they've got more than 50 flavors) and a number of hoses. Take a seat on one of the couches, and in a few minutes, the staff will bring a huge water pipe with long snaking hoses to you. They'll drop a hot coal on top of a foil-wrapped packet of tobacco and give you sanitary tips for the hoses. The rest is up to you.I shared a hookah with cinnamon tobacco with my friend Tracy. The flavor wasn't overpowering and it went well with my cappuccino (The Oasis doesn't serve alcohol).The Oasis is easily one of the quietest, most laid back social spaces in Memphis. People were hanging out on the couches, smoking and talking or working on laptops. Two guys near us were having a bit of a smoke ring competition. Even though most people were smoking, they were smoking hookahs, not cigarettes, which kept the club from smelling like a bar at last call.The Oasis is open from 12 p.m. - 1 a.m. Sunday - Thursday, and 12 p.m. - 3 a.m. on Friday and Saturday. It would make a great late-night work spot, as it's open later than all of the other coffee shops in Memphis.

This is a really popular high school/college hangout. It's 18+ -- doesn't serve alcohol, but has a good selection of hookah flavors. The hookah is so-so. The atmosphere here is really chill; it's a good place to go hang out for hours, talk, and play board games. Also right down the street from bars on the Highland strip.Overall, a really cool hangout spot.

Came on Sunday 3/12 to have Hookah with cousins at 11:00pm and they were closed! All doors locked but they said they're opened daily and the open sign was lit. What a waste of time.

Always a good place to chill and unwind when I'm in town. The mood is easy. The staff are pretty friendly and the price is not bad (well for me at least). Sure it gets crowded sometimes, but that's the price of good business I guess

High prices and douchey staff... Way too high. Staff when I was there didn't seem to care about anything and everything we asked for they were out of.

Visited Memphis for a few days, and went here with a friend. So why should I buy a membership just to get in?? I'll probably won't come back, even if I were local. Bad service too. Ugh

Great lounge ! Very laid back and great music. Customer service great. Ask for Ricko if I'm not mistaken he's very nice. Great drinks for reasonable price

Checked this place out while being in town. Hookahs weren't properly cleaned, DJ wasn't that great and no bar. :(
