Horrible course conditions. Played 9/4/22 and I'm not sure what's going on. Still charged $50 to play the course. I feel like I should have been warned when I made the tee time. You can't really change courses at 8 a.m. on a Sunday morning, so your stuck. I won't be back to this course until there's some proof that things have changed. Really sad that the owners just don't care. Pictures from someone else on green conditions and review a month ago are still correct

I played here this past Sunday and for the most part, I was pleased. The clubhouse is still one of the better clubhouses by design around the area although the upkeep has declined. The staff was pleasant in the pro shop and upstairs at the bar when you make the turn. Plenty of items and drinks to choose from. What I found most disappointing was the maintenance of the course. Keep in mind I have been playing this course since 1998. I remember Northcreek before the apartments were built. I think there is a fine line between having a natural element and letting a course go. The greens were fantastic and the fairways were immaculate however, when I'm paying $45 for my round, the bunkers should not be hard dirt void of any sand. Granted I did not find a bunker until #18 when I went for the green in two but when I did, the bunker was loaded with goose excrement. Number 1 used to be neatly manicured in front of the green. Now its weeds have grown up higher than the edge of the water. The bunker on the right is dirt. One of my playing partners had to pull his ball out since it was unplayable. Same for the bunker on the left of #2. Same goes for the bunker on the right of #3. What really is horrible are the tee boxes on the par 5 #4. They are separated by six foot high weeds. C'mon people. This is just laziness. If we're paying this rate then you guys can pay someone to get in there and clean it up. Bunkers on #6, dirt. The pond on #6 to the left of the fairway, weeds and overgrowth. The bunkers on #7 behind the green, dirt and mud. The water that ran up #8's left side all the way to the green, weeds and overgrowth. Number 10's creek is gone and the bridge looks like termites holding hands, not to mention that tree growing out of what used to be a pond. It needs to be removed. I can remember when the par 5 #13 used to have a pond in front of the tee boxes. Now its weeds have grown up so much you can't see the fairway. You have to aim for the white house in the distance and swing for it. Bunkers on #13 are dirt/mud. Number 14, same thing. All the overgrowth has come out of the ditch where you can't see the fairway. Bunkers are void of sand. One bunker on the right of #15 says it all. There's grass, mud, dirt, goose crap, and debris inside it. Number 18 is a disappointment with zero sand in the bunkers. I finished my round pulling my ball out from between massive piles of goose crap. Chipped up and two putted for a par. It saddens me to see a course I have played almost 20 years look the way it does in its current state. It shouldn't bother me since I was in the fairways and on the greens in regulation (with the exception of one) and like I said before, they are both A+, but I remember when this course was in prime condition. Hopefully they will get this course back to looking like the "$100 per round golf course you'd see in Florida" it used to but until it does, I doubt I'll be back.

It's too bad this course has closed. I learned how to golf here when we lived in the area. I went back to visit hoping to get another round in, but alas, it is no more. They needed to put the money into a full refresh but never did. North Creek had some of - if not the best - greens in the area back in 2012 - 2015 with mini-verde grass that was rolled and mowed to perfection. The crew knew what they were doing back then, but I believe they were never given the budget to make it what it could have been.

Worst golf course conditions I've ever played!!! The pictures online are not what you get!!! My son and I picked this course because we had never played it. Wanted to play a different course before he reported to football practice at Miss St. Drove from Tupelo, to play in a weed infested, no grass on the greens and 100% unkept bunkers. Edges of water hazards were grown up so bad you just knew you get snake bit!!!Go Somewhere Else!!!
