Truly some of the worst Chinese food we've ever eaten. Save your money & eat the stale crackers in your pantry instead if it comes down to it. Seriously- this stuff was inedible.

We ordered Pan fried Dumplings, Orange Chicken, Teriyaki Chicken and egg rolls. Wife and I had the food delivered to our hotel. Quantity of food was insane! If you like allot of food then you will like the serving size. As stated, they deliver which was a big plus because we had just pulled into the hotel here in Tupelo. We were beat and tired so delivery was much appreciated. Food Taste on the other hand was not for us. Food tasted like a buffet. Oily and heavily battered. The Fried rice was bland, pan dumplings were heavy, large and meat inside was very dark. Almost a dark burnt appearance. Much different taste than what we are familiar with.We probably would run out and see the town next time we are hungry in Tupelo. The best thing I can say about this restaurant is. With only two stars there is plenty of opportunity for improvement.

Good, hot, American-style Chinese food. Nothing fancy. I once had a mix up with the delivery, but no big deal. Usually, though, I get takeout, and they cook it when you order it. The food is consistently good and always hot.

I tried to make an order by phone (at 5p.m. they close at 9:30 p.m. The tupelo, MS branch ) for some crab rangoons and other things but because of the reps' language barrier. She got mad and hung up when I asked her to speak a little slowly. So, I called again and said we got mistakenly disconnected (when I know she hung up) and I politely ask for the same order and she began to talk in her fast pace yet native tongue again. I have yet to understand what the problem was. You are a business selling a product and I am trying to give you my business. What have I said or done that has cause you to be so flipped with me. She calls me stupid . I hang up because I felt hey Dodge's Chicken is right down the street and that is where I went. This was on Christmas. If you don't like your job change it.

The food is fine but the phone service sucks. They never say thank you just hang up on you after the order. I say thank you they just hang up. Not very good service

I really can't say enough good about New China. We always get delivery and the food is good, plentiful, hot, and the order is always correct. True, this is your typical Americanized Chinese food, but it's still really tasty. The coconut shrimp is excellent, and by far the best thing of theirs I have tried. Lovely creamy sauce with a sweet tang over breaded shrimp. The crab rangoon is also a favorite. The house fried rice is suitably packed with meat and veggies. The one complaint I have is that the hot and sour soup isn't quite hot enough pepperwise, but nothing that can't be fixed with a dash or two of white pepper or a shot of sriracha. If Chinese food can be considered a "comfort food" this is it. I'm also incredibly glad they deliver to my neighborhood. The pizza place next door thought they were too good to deliver to my neighborhood, so now New China happily gets all my money and I get better food!

The meal started off as a decent run-of-the-mill American style Chinese restaurant, and I was impressed at the variety they had to offer. Unfortunately, I found a roach in my beef and broccoli dish. If you enjoy eating disease-ridden, filthy insects, then this is the place for you. Otherwise, stay far away! Check out the pic...

Pros: Large portion sizes that are on the salty side. Cons: Who has heard of a Chinese restaurant that doesn't serve hot tea? Far from authentic dishes.

This is the worst food I have ever eaten; an insult to Chinese cuisine. We ordered curry beef, fried rice, seafood lo mein, and hot/sour soup. The soup was like drinking motor oil - seriously disturbing flavor. I knew I was in trouble after a couple of sips of that trash water. The curry beef made me gasp - absolutely terrible flavor. I am pretty sure that I might have picked up some disease after eating it. So damn disgusting. The lo mein tasted like old a**, and the imitation seafood made me throw up in my mouth.I would have asked for my money back, but I would prefer to just rinse my mouth out with soap and light my house on fire...and burn alive with the ashes.Do not ever eat this disgusting trash. I am amazed that their doors are open. Nothing personal against the owners...but please close your doors permanently so that other innocent patrons are not subjected to such terrible food.
