This location will suck the soul out of you. When you walk in, nobody greets you. You have to walk to the desk and get their attention. The desk people were unfriendly, unhelpful, and clearly did not want to be there. Then, they make you wait for half an hour to see the eye doctor.They also do not honor their MrEyeDr warranty. I got glasses from a Texas location a few months ago, so I'm supposed to have a one year warranty on my glasses. However, when I went to this location, they said the warranty was location specific, so they can not replace my frames that had a manufacturer defect. They said I had to go back to the Texas location. This is clearly a lie, as I left and drove a few minutes away to a MyEyeDr on Poplar Ave. They honored the warranty and got me squared away with new frames.Avoid at all costs. They will come up with any excuse to overcharge you and not honor your warranty.

I typically visit the Poplar Regalia location. However, I have been experiencing slight blurriness and needed an emergency exam I scheduled here. I pass this location often so I was familiar with getting there. I will say that I love the ability to schedule and order items online. I was able to book at 840am appt around 7pm the night before. I was also able to ensure my vision information was in the system already. Upon arrival, I verified all info and in less than 5mins I was escorted to the back. Dr. Meade Kendrick was great. We discussed recent issue and he did everything he could to ensure I was all set before leaving. My scans and exam came back great. No issues. In addition, no changes to eye prescription. I was able to select a try one several lens. I decided on a new pair as well as readers for work. Based on his recommendation, I opted to have blue eye shield added to the readers. Overall, Great experience. I would likely visit here again for next exam.

The doctor is great. Picking out glasses is good. You always have to wait to pick up glasses. This is my second time to wait in waiting room for over 1 hour. I gave up before and I had to just get my glasses that were not fitted. Still waiting over an hour.

Since this particular company bought out family vision Center a lot has changed it's lacking quite a bit. I've never been given contact cleaning solution after in an exam without a bag just put in my hand out the door the pricing structure for services has changed tremendously I've never had to pay anything more than $10-$20 co-pays now is $65 and $75 and up and that's because they say I received a contact lens exam. I've always received one never had to pay that much until they took over the business I do plan to speak to my insurance provider about it and it's something terribly wrong. The atmosphere in the place is not even the same the professionalism is lacking young lady doing my first exam she told me put your head forward and your chin in the holder she didn't explain to me what she was doing or why. oh this is new and it is bothered me all afternoon the way the service just Plano customer service has gone out the door I believe it's time to do something different long-term patient of Dr. Hamilton who is wonderful but that staff and the service Has to go.

Let me say this, Dr. Usdan was great. My complaint is with everything else, I've. Even waiting on glasses and sunglasses for 1 week past the promised deadline. When the glasses came in I went to pick them up and had to sit and wait as if I dont have other things to do.I feel that they are overwhelmed. From now on eye exams only. Dr. Usdan is an excellent doctor with a caring bedside manner. He treats me and my children. The office has imaging technology so you do not need to have your eyes dilated which we all appreciate. Allison always helps me and my children pick the best frames for face. She is knowledgeable and fun loving. Charlene is also excellent with contacts. Highly recommend.

The doctor at this location was great. The location was the one on goodman road. Southaven Ms The part that you go over to get your glasses need help with customer service. First when I came for my eye exam I stood there for 10 minutes before the lady asked could she help me and then she rudely told me to go to the other side. When I came to pick up my glasses the same man looking woman didn't even offer me to try the glasses on see did they fit or nothing. Just handed me the glasses and walked off. Me and my daughter got glasses from there and she was so stuck on doing nothing that she couldn't even make sure that the customer was satisfied. I will not be going back to this location just because of her rude customer service.

Dr. Leonard Hampton has no professional tact. He enters the room, no hi, just " why have you not seen the charles retina eye institute from your last appointment? " I told him I was too busy to sit at a dr. office for up to 6 hours waiting to see the dr, especially when my eye dr office made the appointment for me, did not consider if it was convenient for me and when I called the institute to reschedule (March 2020) they told me they were not rescheduling due to covid. "DO YOU HAVE TIME TO GO BLIND?" was the next words that came out of his mouth. I have always had high pressure in my eyes, since I was a teen, have seen many eye specialist in the area and nothing has come of it. Why do I want to pay a specialist when I get the same result? I did tell him of the ordeal I had to go through with my December 2019 visit with dr. saslawsky and I think he regretted his opening comment to me. He gave me a card for another eye specialist that he said I would not have to wait all day to see.I have always had high pressure in my eyes, since I was a teen, have seen many eye specialist in the area and nothing has come of it. Why do I want to pay a specialist when I get the same result?Let me tell you of the experience I have had with this location. Last December 2019 was my first visit to my eye doctor. I saw dr. joe saslawsky. Got the eye exam and was fitted for new glasses. When I went to pick up the glasses, I told the technician that I was "seeing downhill" to the right. My concern was dismissed and I was told I would have to get adjusted to my prescription. This lasted for 2 days, called back, saw another technician, they couldn't figure it out, until I told them I have astigmatism.....the prescription dr. saslawsky wrote was wrong. I had to come back to the office, get my eyes rechecked and sure enough, he admitted he wrote the wrong prescription. After 3 weeks of waiting and 3 trips to see them, I finally had glasses that I could see out of and didn't make me feel like I was walking downhill to the right.I will not be back to this location nor to any other myeyedr location.

Dr. E. was very helpful during a difficult eye issue and I highly recommend him.My experience with purchasing my glasses was horrible. I went back no less than 6 times (most likely more) to get my glasses adjusted and tightened. The nose piece fell off and they continued to be loose and crooked. I never slept in, fell asleep with them on or laid down with my glasses on though I was accused of that on a few occasions. I also don't fold my glasses when I'm not wearing them but I must wear them all the time to see. I will say that they did continue to work on the issue but I was told something different by almost every person who adjusted my glasses. There needs to be more consistent training. I would have had them adjusted almost every week but who has time for that? They would never allow me to make an appointment and I always had to wait causing each time to take an hour or more. It was very inconvenient. I finally called Dr. E. but he said that is not his department and referred me to Greg. I did not follow up and still might but I just haven't had the time to get by there yet. Dr. Eisenstaedt is amazing and I highly recommend him but I would definitely go elsewhere to purchase glasses.
