Music City Brisket

TRULY the best taco I have ever had. We ran into this food truck at Pins Mechanical and were blown away. The guys working, are incredibly nice. So good we tracked them down the next night to get more. Couldn't recommend trying this place enough!

About 6 hours ago I had some of their food from the food truck at the Opryland Convention Center.. unfortunately, here I am at 3 am with stomach cramps and likely food poisoning. It's the only unusual thing I ate all day. I'm not posting to be a jerk, just so if someone else feels sick they don't think it's just them. Honestly, it tastes awesome going in... not so awesome coming out.

Loved this place!!! Great food, great service, and great experience. We got to try Music City Brisket food truck while wondering around a food truck festival in downtown Nashville. We at at this truck and at a grilled cheese truck. I chose their rueben which was wonderful! I'd highly recommend them

Had the Brisket Sandwich, which is very good overall. The brisket was good, but not great, without a tremendous amount of flavor, and not super moist. My biggest problem was that the brisket I got was extremely fatty. Not just "moist brisket" with nice marbling, but a streak of fat that was probably about half the total slice. Everything else about the sandwich was really tasty, but this was a Brisket Sandwich so I would have expected more. Especially when the business is called "Music City Brisket".

Music City Brisket is in their Grand Opening phase! A gentleman stopped by my office (nearby) right as I was thinking about lunch and handed me a card. I had to go! The flavors and portions were off the charts! Definately some of the best Bar-B-Q available!Make this stop a MUST on your Nashville to-do list!Brisket Sandwich

I first found out about Music City Brisket through street food Thursday's downtown Nashville food was always fresh and very delicious. I went to the location on Hayes street wasn't too busy. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door by some very friendly people. I ordered the avocado fries with a side of yum yum sauce along with 2 brisket tacos . Food was very delicious the tacos had a slight kick to em because of the fresh jalapeño they add to the pico de gallo but it wasn't too spicy I thoroughly enjoyed and will make sure to go back food did not disappoint!

Drove a half hour to try this. They were located in a gorgeous winery. Great views! Gorgeous day.We had brisket sandwiches. Cheese was great, onions and green peppers were fine. Sauce was ok. Bread was good.Brisket was too salty and somewhat dry. Had they asked, we would have ordered with as much fat as possible to offset the drying of the bbq process. But they didn't ask and handed us ready prepared sandwiches.It was ok but not worth the hour round trip.

You know how whenever you decide to go somewhere at the last minute and something great happens while you're there...that's how this happened today. I decided at the last minute to take my wild dog Cash, honestly the cutest part of this review, (Instagram #adventuresincashville) to the dog park because he needed to run off whatever was making him act like a wild man! I don't wanna say it was a donut but it could have been a donut. He's a sneaky little bugger. Lol. ANYWAY! We pull up to the dog park and he's going wild in the backseat but even he went silent as we passed the Music City Brisket Food Truck. Call it fate, kismet, some good Karma...whatever you call it, I'm here for it! Figuring that the bbq gods had smiled upon me knowing how little I wanted to cook tonight and following Cash's meet and greet at the park we hop skipped and jumped over to the truck. The menu featured some great items from sandwiches to tacos and ribs to loaded fries, a great menu! I chose to go with two rib entrees ($12) and an order of loaded fries ($10) topped with Yum Yum sauce (if you don't know about Yum Yum sauce GET SOME! Get in your car and go get some!!). I'll just tell you that it all looked great but the loaded fries did not make it to dinner time. lol. They were soooooooo good. Topped with cheese, brisket, jalapeño, and of course the yum yum. They do have other sauces if you don't want the most amazing sauce ever made in the history of sauces. The brisket was very good, great flavor and very tender. The ribs were really good, very tender with a little pull which for me is a perfect rib. I was pretty sleepy after so that's a sign of good bbq in my opinion. They also have some brisket treats for the pups but to Cash's disappointment they didn't have any. The food gods did not smile on him that day but he did get to meet some new friends at the dog park and now he's laid out on the floor exhausted from his play time! So all is well and everyone is happy! I look forward to coming across this food truck again!

Tacos were f****** AMAZING. I'm sure everything else is good too. Best tacos I've ever had. Guys were super nice too. Easy to deal with, got it out quick, served hot. Going back ASAP
