Munchy’s

I wasn't sure what to expect out of this place, but since I moved to town about a month ago people have been telling me to go. I decided to try it when my family came to town, and it was awesome! The atmosphere is lively and bright. The food was delicious! My favorite was the buffalo chicken sandwich and the jalapeño cheese sticks. Our food was made quickly and even though there is not table service, the staff are friendly!

I was looking forward to eating at their new location. My husband and I stopped in for lunch on a Sunday afternoon and I have to say I was totally disappointed! I wanted to like it so much. My husband ordered chicken strips and fries, I ordered the jumbo corndog with onion rings, and we wanted to try the cheese sticks. Everything that we got had a burnt flavor to it. My corn dog was a bit soggy and no crispiness to it at all. The onion rings were decent at best. I have to say the cheese sticks or just OK. My husband's chicken strips were crispy, but as I said, had a burnt flavor! I think they just needed to change their oil that they were frying in. Whatever the problem was has made me reluctant to try them again. The people behind the counter, taking the orders for friendly and the restaurant looked clean, but the food was a total letdown! I also got a peanut butter cookie that tasted homemade and was actually the best thing I had. I hate to not have anything good to say about a restaurant, especially a local place that has been around so long.

The menu at Munchy's makes me so nostalgic! The fresh salads look really yummy but I cant help but order the big ol corn dogs, funnel cakes, & mozzarella sticks. I love the Munch Punch & the hand squeezed lemonade! Reasonably priced and offers delivery via Bite Squad (I got 20% off with coupon LOCAL20)

A old Jonesboro institution that changed hands recently. Famous for steamed sandwiches and their epic cheese sticks. I think the new owners are trying to cut costs and getting meats of lesser quality -- the corned beef for my Reuben was stringy and a bit fatty. The cheese sticks and marina are as good as ever. I think they dust them with crack?Will always go when I'm town -- it will always remind me of my old college days.

Munchy's has always been a Jonesboro and Astate favorite!!! This simple little sub shop figured out early how to please broke hungry college kids. Their subs are simple, but consistently delicious! Customer service was terrible. The lady who took my name put something not even close to my name down. So, when they called that name, I didn't respond. The girl taking the food out found me and then hatefully chastised me and plopped the tray down, gritting her teeth at me because I DIDNT ANSWER TO THE WRONG NAME! The food...oh, dear lord. It was disgusting. My burger was tasteless and full of grease. And my daughter's chicken bacon Swiss was rubbery and flavorless. Will not return. Thanks for taking my $27.

Very disappointed in food and service stop by for lunch food was cold don't mean cold I mean ice cold on a heated sandwich no flavor ask them about it and they seem uncaring about it sure not the place it once was very sad

Great food & service. Would like them to deliver that does cost a lot of $$. I. Worked there when I was a teenager and loved it then.
