Mt Fuji Japanese Steakhouse

Mt. Fuji is my favorite sushi bar in Tupelo. The restaurant is beautiful. You walk over a koi filled stream to enter. Do yourself a favor & sit at the sushi bar, letting the sushi masters do their magic! Service is superb!

Usually, I don't put reviews because I don't believe Destroy business owners and her business But the for was disaster in the Maneger was really rude ...

We typically on have sushi here. Our favorites are the King tuna roll. Fresh, with a more savory cut of tuna. Very filling roll Hot girl roll , fresh with just right amount of spicy tuna in center with salmon, tuna and white fish on top Best of the best roll. Large roll with tempura shrimp mixed with multiple fresh fish. Hearty roll and very well balanced. Only negative is something beyond their control really.. with it being 100 degrees outside and the habachi tables going , it is very warm inside. The lady's seem fine, but my large self gets a little on the hot side. Still worth the visit.

Our server was so kind, the food was okay, but the restaurant itself leaves a lot to be desired. Do not go in the middle of the day during Summer and sit at the habachi. The stove top was already on which made it hot already once we sat down, but the habachi table we were sat at was next to the large windows at the front. The windows did have black curtains over them, but I think it made it hotter. We were all sweating rather bad and the only somewhat cool place was in the bathroom. The women's bathroom was really small and all over the floor was sticky. The sinks also look like they haven't actually been cleaned in a while since the basins looked like they had a white build up. I usually try to post high reviews, but this was just a mediocre experience other than our server.

We've been here a few times. We've always done the hibachi table...it's fun, food is good, the hibachi chefs make it worth it... It's a little pricey, but the portions are good...we always leave with a take-home. We usually do not order cocktails... overpriced, unsatisfying (watered down), but we have found that these cocktails are decent... Never more than one, but the one has been spot on.

If I get to choose dinner for date night, 9 out of 10 times it's going to be Mt Fugi. I've never had a bad meal here! The sushi is insanely fresh and always delicious, the hibachi is well seasoned and cooked perfectly, and they have my second favorite fried rice of all time. The staff is generally pleasant and the bathroom is always decently clean. Just a head's up, they get busy! If you're trying to have a quick meal just let them know and they will recommend what can come out quickly and they'll take care of you.

The sushi is always fresh and delicious ,also the service and staff are very quick and friendly

The Big Tuna Roll and Fried rice was great. The service was great and the atmosphere was fine too. I like the hibachi grill also. If your in Tupelo it's a must stop for lunch, dinner or takeout.

Not the same!... Been here almost weekly for years. Love Jack, good sushi... changed chicken supplier... chicken rubbery and terrible... but 3 times now "Luke" the manager was very rude. I don't plan to go back. Very disappointed, will miss eating here.

The food was so cold. Our service sucked. Overall would never come back took atleast 30 mins to bring our drinks and when she asked abt it she just looked around.
