Now that's a pot roast! It was really incredible.
Bacon & Eggs, with Sausage Biscuits & Gravy ($3.98)
They don't skimp on the bacon - every time I take a bite - 3 or 4 pieces fall out
a white truck parked in front of a store
Mary sure hooked me up!
Catfish
I think this is chicken
That is an insane helping of pot roast. Best I've had in quite some time.
Is this spaghetti with meatballs or meatballs with spaghetti? This made two meals for me. Under $10!

I'm giving two stars, because the man that rang up my coffee, had a beautiful smile on his face, and spoke to me with respect and said, thank you like he meant it. I would have bought something to eat, but the girl at the food service counter was too busy talking to a man about how she is treated like a GD slave and needs to find another f-ing job.

So, my friend suggested breakfast at Minit Stop Food. I know nothing about the place. I just drive. Pull up to a gas station. She definitely knows how to wine and dine me. But, we've traveled a bit together, and she's not steered me wrong. Well, there was this hot dog incident ... Walk in, past the register to the counter window in back - and that's where the food is. $3.98 Special. Bacon & Eggs with Sausage and Gravy. I'm not too hungry. We go for one to share. Tables to at the front of the convenience mart. With a wonderful view of the gas pumps outside. Or the car maintenance supplies inside. See pics. Food is not bad. She said it's salty. I agreed. Remember, where I'm from, salt is a major food group. The Chili water (again, see pic) helped dilute the saltiness and gave it a little kick. Not that much of a kick but maybe for the sensitive mouths. If I were hungry, I would have eaten more. It wasn't bad. It's not table service. Order at the window. Pay at the front register. Eat in or take it to go. The counter staff and the cashier were both friendly. Quick. Easy. Inexpensive. Convenient. Can't ask for more than that.

I've been coming here for years and somehow I've failed to review it. It's a gas station and convenience store, but I'm reviewing the kitchen portion of the business. They serve breakfast and lunch. Catfish, fried chicken, hamburger steak, and oh my god, pot roast!!! They serve every vegetable you can think of too. This is order in line and pay at the counter. There are a few tables for seating, but most people take their lunch back to work. Each day they'll have two or three meats and several vegetables. The line moves fairly quick because they just plate your food up cafeteria style. It's not the nicest place to eat, but the food really is good, and you will get a lot for your money. They don't skimp on portions. They cook homemade southern style and they actually use cast iron. Whatever you get, you gotta try their brown gravy! You gotta try their biscuits too. They really can cook!

I wouldn't eat here if I was you. It gets marks for convenience in being located close to my neighborhood. However, it loses alllll those points for the very high gas price and the fact that during the snow in February and the boil water notice that made it hard to find bottled water, they were selling a 24 pack of water for $14.

I found this place on yelp when getting my tires done across the street - complete hole in the wall convenience store with a window and a couple of little ol ladies in the back - you basically go in and find the line of dudes and listen to what they are getting - because the menu is no help - basically you got bacon, sausage, ham, chicken, chicken fried steak and bologna and the eggs are loosely scrambled - they got wheat and white and biscuits - you tell them what you want and move it along because most likely there's a line of dudes behind you trying to get to workBest breakfast sandwich - if you get bacon on it be sure you LOVE bacon because there's a ton of it - I will make sure I get my tires balanced and rotated every 5000 miles just so I can eat here every time

Got the both the BEC and SEC sandwiches. Well worth the time and price for the amount of bacon you get alone. Most bacon I've ever seen or got on a breakfast sandwich. Only ding is they don't toast the bread. Still best breakfast spot around for miles.

This place is a grungy hole in the wall, in a good way. The food is basic but good. Don't expect sit down service, or even a place to sit. This is a window inside of a gas station, not the place you would typically expect to find a good home cooked breakfast sandwich. Instructions: Walk into the gas station, wait in line behind all of the grungy contractors on their way to a project, order off the list from the friendly lady behind the window, don't ask any questions, and enjoy. I had a bacon, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on wheat. There was more bacon than anything else. It was delicious.

Passing through the area and was looking for a good breakfast spot. I noticed several of my other yelpers who had recommended this place. Let me start off by saying this is not a sit down restaurant by any means more a stop and go in a liquor store type of setting. If you are particular about how your food is prepared this also may not be your cup of tea. The food is cafeteria style already set out not many options and make sure you know what you want before you get to your turn to order staff was not very understanding of questions and locals were a little pushy. I ordered a bologna cheese bacon and egg sandwich and I must say it was awesome. Great place if you are seeking a breakfast sandwich and are not to picky ( only white bread) and please like pork

Nasty food, it used to be good. The ownership changed, now the food is bad and overpriced.
