Mid-Town Drive In

Nice folks. New design. The food was simply ok. The chili was bland, fried side items had a look and taste of older oil and far over cooked. I realize they are under new management and rebuilding. I'll give them another try next time I'm in town.

I had the "chef" salad, essentially a bed of lettuce with lunch meat, tomato, a few slices of carrots and shredded processed cheese topped with a giant pile of baco-bits served on the yellow styrofoam tray that I think is intended to package raw meat. Aside from the fake food on top of my salad, the lettuce and tomato's were at least fresh. People don't come here for the salad though, everything else is deep fried. Nothing but the milkshakes are made fresh. If you want someone else to cook your frozen onion rings and meat patties, then MidTown is as good as any place. On a side note, the staff seem friendly and walk around frequently making sure everyone has what they need.

Simple straight forward food done well. Barbecued bologna as well as ribs, chicken, pork. Good prices, thick milkshakes that they personalize. Fast.

This place has some really good food and is easy to access. The workers are always very nice and the food is delicious. If your hungry and have a bit of cash, go here. It's not even that expensive

So yeah, I should have known when the lady who took my order said that she didn't eat anything that I asked about even though I asked about 3 different things. I should have known when looking around and seeing the condition of the building. I ended up getting the fish plate and it comes with a fair variety of items. Too bad nothing but the fries were eatable! I understand it's a small town and local businesses struggle, that's why I didn't even ask for my money back. I'm just here to forewarn people traveling by so they aren't mislead by the reviews as I was.

Very fast service very clean you can see the cooks as they could so you know they are using all proper gloves and Exc. Great prizes easy to go orders. Everyone in there is always been really nice very fresh food when you order something for iPad they drop it right then other than having a hot lamp keeping it warm

Best cheese burger in Mayfield!!! Great service good food and the last place I know of to get fountain Sun drop in Mayfield. Food is priced very reasonable! I can feed a family of 4 for around $20, and the bbq pork shoulder is pretty good for the money!

Wonderful Group of Gals that work there. Been going to them since I could ride a bicycle.. And after moving away for 7-8 years I came in and they remembered me and we always strike up a wonderful conversation!! Not expensive. Quality off food is fantastic! Highly Recommended

You won't find friendlier home town people than you do at this small landmark. They have daily specials for $5 that include your drink. They also have a vast menu of everything from applesauce to zucchini in a fresh salad. Portion size is very generous too.
