This hobbie store it perfect for people who are interested in things like RC Cars, RC Trains, Planes, Boats, etc! They also have legos, Hotwheels and matchbox, board games etc! I highly recommend this place if you're interested in anything car related like me! Workers are extremely nice as well!

My RC addiction brought me here... well when I realized one of my trucks was busted. My brother-in-law also ended up needing parts, so off we went.They have a pretty good selection of rc cars, parts, and planes. Looks like they service cars, so if you don't like working on your own they'll do it. They had a few used cars for sale, and I thought that was pretty cool.They have a massive train selection. More stuff than any other hobby store I've been to. If you're in Memphis, and you need model train stuff, this is your spot.This place also had Funko products, models, comic book, paint, and a variety of many other different items. Prices seemed pretty good, and definitely the selection to look through.Interesting place that caters to the inner nerd.

Definitely the place in Memphis to visit if you're looking for hobby and games. RC aircraft and cars, as well as a huge selection of parts. Lots of model railroading with scales from small to large.

If it was possible to give negative stars, I would! I ordered a metal sign online over a month ago. Never received the sign. I followed up with multiple emails and voicemails, only to receive no response and no sign! Unfortunately, going to have to file a claim with the BBB. Save your time and money! Worst customer service ever!!!

Great prices and variety of items but holy hell is this place a filthy wreck otherwise. There appears to be at least five people working on the weekend but the bathroom is straight out of a third world country, and the rest of the store is constantly trashed with paths through things on the floor. I mentioned to the man at the register that they needed to address their bathroom and he turned to the only woman working in the store and told me to tell her because apparently a sanitary environment is only a woman's concern and a woman's problem to fix...and of course no apology for having a bathroom that all adults should know damn well is a health hazard. I'll update my review if I don't think a hazmat suit is necessary the next time I visit.

I was visiting the area not long ago and went there just to take a look. I thought the old-school "one of everything" type of hobby shop was extinct. This place had a little of everything. I found a lot of long-sold-out items and shelves packed with a little of everything. Plenty of new stuff, too. I didn't get ignored like many other hobby shops do when you walk in and have a question. Good staff, really good selection. Just plan on being there for at least an hour to check it all out!

Awesome shop with super knowledgeable guys. Great selection and all around just some really neat stuff. Definitely will be stopping by more now that I know of it!

This definitely IS THE BEST hobby shop for many, many miles around. Others come and go. This one stays.I much like their staff's product knowledge and technical expertise. What one doesn't know, another can fill in. Nice, helpful people, in my experience.The product selection is extensive. But...(There's always got to be a "but," doesn't there?)...the shelves are scruffy, spottily stocked, and not as clean or tidy as one might wish. They seems not to discriminate between new and used, recent or old stock. Result: There's some real junk amid the good stuff, takling u,p space that could be used for better purposes. My advice: Have a giant parking lot sale, shed the fifth-rate material, and sharply upgrade your stock. I'd much rather buy model railroad building kits and supplies from you than from eBay, but I'm not likely to do that till you get some better items in.I do wish you'd consider adding philatelic (stamp collecting) supplies to your inventory. No one else in town carries any meaningful kind or quantity in this field. (Hobby Lobby doesn't cut it. Ditto Michael's.)That said, I think Mid-South Hobbies is a GREAT store, and I do love to shop there.

This hobby shop definitely has a large selection for RC, scale model, and railroad. Prices are very reasonable, only drawback is customer service isn't the greatest, then again most retail stores have that problem. I would definitely recommend this place

Excellent hobby store with a wide selection and a variety of upgradable parts stocked. Also has a friendly, knowledgeable staff that is ready to assist with anything.
