I ordered a hamburger that tasted like if had freezer burn and was half the size of the bun. Then they charged me $11.99 for it. You didn't even get fries with it. Now I'm sitting at home 5 hours later sick as a dog. This place is horrible.

It's not the best place to get Tex-mex food, but if you don't have much money and you're in pontotoc then this place works for some mediocre food. The service is good, and the football nachos and street tacos are good too

Excellent Mexican restaurant in Pontotoc, Mississippi. Great horchata and cheese dip. Service is great! The grilled chicken chimichanga is a must. They even give discounts for teachers! One of the couple best restaurants in town. Would definitely recommend to locals and visitors alike.

This is not good mexican food. And there are two, less then a mile apart, and i have ate at both. I almost went there to eat twice in the past month but could not bring myself to give them another try because i kept thinking of the burrito, beans and rice i had last time, It seemed like they had poured water all over it, it was more like a plate of burrito, bean, and rice soup. if you really want mexican food go to tupelo.

I be unfortunately notice they STILL haven't opened their buffet back up. All the other restaurants that had buffets have reopened after COVID. What these guys don't realize is everybody loved. The buffet because they could get in and get out quick on their lunch break. Some people only get 30 minutes for lunch so. It's cutting it too close for them to get back in time if they have to order off the menu. I know their lunch sales have dropped because everyone at lunch ate from the buffet. So they basically shot themselves in the foot due to lost sales. If these people in their naivety keep it closed, then just rip the damn buffet table out. It just makes no sense.

I've been coming here once a week for years. It is one of the best options when it comes to Mexican food in the Pontotoc Area. It's cheap as well which is always a plus. Buffet is from 11-2 for anyone wondering.

EXCEPTIONAL !! Be prepared for one of the highest quality lunch buffets you will experience in authentic Mexican cuisine at Mi Pueblo. We discovered Mi Pueblo ( in Pontotoc ) after a dreadful business stay in Tupelo and headed to OLE MISS at Oxford . The family run Mi Pueblo restaurant experience eliminated the pains of Tupelo ( no wonder ELVIS took off ) . The extensive offering on the buffet is what you would expect in A la carte service, there are no chafing dishes that disappoint; it is no wonder the awards from the Mid South & Mississippi Restaurant Association adorn the walls for year after year of best restaurant. The atmosphere is a world above the traditional Mexican restaurant and the place is impeccable with cleanliness up front to the restrooms. I only wish we were there for dinner to enjoy their UNWIND potents . If I would have known about this place in my years at OLE MISS I would have skipped the sojourn west to Panola County for the 5% beer (Lafayette County & Oxford were DRY then) and eating catfish n hush puppies off of sheets of the Commercial Appeal at Sardis Lake. Mind you, that catfish was good and bleeding the grease off on the COMMERCIAL APPEAL was the most meaningful purpose I have ever seen for that publication . If you are in Oxford treat yourself to an experience at Mi Pueblo and it will become a habit stronger than I had for fish in a shack at Sardis !!!!
