Mi Pueblo

Authentic. Quaint. Delicious. True off-the-grid Mexican restaurant. Family-owned and operated by an amazing group of people. I've eaten here so often, they don't even bring me a menu anymore! I always get the "Four Taco Special" with flour tortillas. It's really only $6.50 and there's 6-8 different meats to choose from. I stick with Azada (steak) and Carnitas (pork) ... two of each. The rojo and verde sauces are the perfect amount of heat and flavor. In the back of the store you can even buy a variety spices and some grocery staples.

Oh my gosh, those were the best authentic tacos I have ever eaten. My daughter and I split an order of 4 corn tortilla tacos, one steak, one carnitas, one chicken, and one al pastor. The meat was flavorful and tender topped with onions and cilantro. So good!! The al pastor was our favorite. I'm visiting from out of town but will be dreaming of Mi Pueblo's tacos until I can visit again!

This is THE best Mexican food in Murray. I have been several times (work lunch) and would go more if the family liked Mexican food (kids love pizza right). Service is quick and there are a ton of options. The staff have always been friendly and attentive. The environment isn't as nice or clean as the newer Tex-Mex place in town, but certainly not dirty. They cook the food out in the open so the smells are yummy. Definitely will be back!

I've had food all over Kentucky lake looking for authentic Mexican food. It's been hard to find anything close. Growing up in Ca, I know my Mexican. This little pace in Murray was recommended by a friend. She was correct. If you want the best ethnic food? Look and see who's eating there. With that said, it's not the best, but very authentic and tasty. The best is a hard goal for any restaurant owner. The prices are very fair. Waitress friendly, and Tortas are delicious. I think they have a good future. Food isn't put out in a fast pace. But when it's time to eat I want to relax anyways. Were always rushing, and not enjoying the simple things. Give this place a try.
