Idk what that Leonard guy is talking about, this place is pretty damn good. I'm from Texas also and I would go here if it was back home... not everything has to be spicy to be good. I had the chicken enchiladas with green sauce (duh) and they were very good, my buddy had the taco sampler plate and he said it was amazing. Would definitely come back and recommend to friends.Edit: I went to the one on bankhead...

It was decent Mexican food, and the service was great. Food was out fast, and the chips and salsa were very good. My entree was alright, but the prices were good so I wasn't expecting the world. So for awesome warm tortilla chips and a decent taco, Mi Pueblo does the job.

I've been eating in this restaurant since they opened, regularly. Pre-kids, we probably ate here 4 days a week. They are clean, fast, friendly. The rice is not your typical Tex-Mex - it's much moister and most days it's more like a Japanese-Mexican hybrid. Much better in my opinion.Pricing is great - you can walk out stuffed for well under $10. The menu is typical Americanized, but they can and will prepare authentic if you ask. I tend to get the Tacos ala Mexicano, which are strikingly familiar to what you'd get from a taco stand south of the border.

This restaurant has been a mainstay in New Albany for over ten years now...If you live away from the Fair and Friendly City and come home for a visit, you can go to Mi Pueblo and probably run into someone you know. The food is typical Mexican food for Americans, but they will cook to order if you know them...and there's a "tipico" Mexican place across the street that they own if you're looking for REAL Mexican food. They don't sell beer yet, but they may at some point. Overall, I recommend it.

Great food. Good prices. Friendly staff. Quick service. Plus they serve Pepsi products (Mt. Dew baby!) so how can you go wrong? :)

My boyfriend and I came in here on our way from Auburn to Memphis and it was one of the only places open on a Sunday but we were really happy with the experience! I had the burrito Mexicano and my boyfriend had the shrimp quesadilla and both were great! The prices were reasonable for the large portions you get there and the food came out quickly! Definitely would recommend and stop here again on our way thru!

As a Texan I know Mexican food and this place is lame. Bland. Where are the spices? The ground beef is barely cooked to an unappealing gray color and is tasteless. The tamale is huge but is mostly tasteless masa with a hunk of tasteless chewy pork in the middle. The guacamole "salad" is just bland guacamole that looks like it came pre-made out of a plastic bag. No lettuce, tomato, Pico de Gallo, or seasoning in it. I got the Grande dinner with a little bit of everything and the only thing that had any taste was the chili relleno. The taco and tostado plate only had one half a slice of hard tomato. Next time I will try a competitor.

This USED to be my favorite place to eat. I always order the same thing.. mixed fajitas. Tonight I ordered the double fajita, ( for two) all I can say is that it come on a larger plate and the food barely covered it. It looked as if I had 1 1/2 of some bell peppers and very little meat. I have ordered this before and had to take 2/3rds of it home with me(so I know their portion sizes). Tonight I ate it all and was glad I was not planning to share with someone. I would have to say it was a single order on a double plate. I asked my server if it was the correct order he just said yes(he did not bring it out). I told him it was not very much food for a double order he just shrugged his shoulders and walked off. I complained to the man cashing me out after he asked if everything was ok and he just kept on cashing me out and asked if I wanted a receipt!! Don't ask if you don't care is my motto. I told them I would never be back and they could have cared less. I hate it because I loved eating there, the food tastes great, but I will not patronize a place that cheats you and smiles about it.

Very pleasantly surprised. Food is way above average. Place was very clean and service was excellent and friendly. They had an "A" health rating. Would definitely stop there again. Not a "chain restaurant". I was a out of town traveler.
