Mi Pueblo Mexican Grill & Tex Mex

What a great find in New Albany! We're from Birmingham where (to my knowledge) don't have any Mexican food buffets near us. We ran across this place on a trip and have to say, the experience was awesome. Seated quickly, quick service and tons of buffet options for a very reasonable price. Food was great, would definitely be back.

I never leave here without a full belly and am particularly fond of the fajita meat and vegetables that come out hot on a sizzling platter. This restaurant is enormous and it can seem like you're never going to get the attention of the waitstaff, but I've found them to be efficient and helpful in every way. For those interested there is also a full-size buffet option if you want a little bit of everything. Only downside I ever found was the salads often had wilting lettuce and unripe tomatoes on a few different occasions.

Love this place! Authentic Mexican food, inexpensive, huge plates and salad/buffet bar. Miguel our server was excellent! Wonderful flavors and pleasant atmosphere.

The food is almost always good, the service is great and mostly friendly. My issue is I husband was in the bathroom and one of the employees walked out of the toilet stall and straight out the door, NO HAND WASHING. I just can't eat there now. Gross

Friendly service. Good food. A LOT of FOOD. Priced right. Tamales a little cornmeal-thick, tasty though. Quesadilla was good.

Walked in, the manager said "help yourself to a table and the buffet" my mom and I went to the restroom and my dad took my son to the food when the server told him "If y'all are gonna eat hurry because we are cleaning up" so rude it's 2pm. We walked out.

Excellent food. Super attententive service, and friendly. We love this place.

Best cheese dip around. I hade the spinish enchiladas with white cheese and they were really good. We also had the fajitas and they were good also. The salad bar is a little extra you don't find in most Mexican restaurants. My main complaint is the guacamole. It tasted like something you would buy at a grocery store. They should offer guacamole made at the table.

If I could give it zero stars I would. I was part of a large party and they were waited on by 1 employee. The service was as horrible as you could imagine and when we asked about adding more staff, nothing was done. Asked to speak to the manager, again they never came to the table. Don't waste your time, Taco Bell is better. Or got to el agave.

I downloaded this app just to leave a review. Absolutely hands down the best Mexican I've ever had! The salsa alone could've made the meal but everything was a pleasure to dine upon. 5 star flavor, 4 star service and 2 star prices. Very impressed and will definitely be back soon.
