Mexico Grill Restaurant and Cantina

Went here for dinner while in town visiting and we left so satisfied! If you want some great Tex-Mex food you need to come here. The Burrito Bandera is a menu rockstar! The chicken quesadilla and steak street tacos are also very good. I'll definitely be back to try out more of the menu next time I'm in town! Ask for Hailey as a server she was both sweet and gracious with our slightly rowdy bunch. Drinks are more juice than liquor, but the food is tasty, the portions are huge, and the prices of everything can't be beaten! Worth a stop-in if you're in town and has a great atmosphere for families too.

Great good but the restaurant failed to inform me a 3% Charge was added to the bill for using a credit card! Had the cash but always use cards when available.

This is king of all Mexican Restaurants. Yep, that sums up this place. Check out my first pictures. I got the shrimp fajitas with sweet tea. The fajitas were delicious. They were generous in the portions they gave me. I had to get a to go box as I couldn't eat all of it. Anyway, came in and sat down and they immediately brought me chips and salsa without asking. This is normal of course for most Mexican restaurants. But, this one is really fast. They really took care of me here. They brought me a refill on my drink without asking. How cool is that.It's located to the left of Kroger. There's always plenty of rook for parking. They even have handicap parking right in front of the restaurant for the disabled.

Delicious food and clean well-appointed restaurant! Super service and excellent sweet tea! So Southern! We enjoyed our enchiladas and carne asada!

Alright, I have had several visits to this Mexican restaurant and I'm now ready to write a review. I think this is Clevelands best Mexican restaurant. If I could, I would give it 6 stars. That's how good it is. On scene: Service has been great every time I have visited. They speak to you as soon as you walk in. Manager acknowledges you and hostess seats you. As soon as you sit down, someone brings you chips and sausa. I like their chips as I think I could make a meal out of them alone. We always ask for their quesa which is a hot melted cheese dip. So, you can dip the chips in their sausa until they bring you their quesa if you ask for it.Mexican Competition in Cleveland: There are 4 Mexican restaurants in this small town. Why, I don't know. At least 3 of them are always busy that I know of. The fourth I don't know anything about because I haven't been to it. I do know that this is my favorite Mexican restaurant, one I don't like and will never go back, the other one I rated 5 stars because I thought it was the best until I found this gem of a Mexican restaurant. Now, I think this is the best Mexican restaurant in Cleveland. The first time I found this place, I went straight to the bar. Service was great there too as several people kept checking on me including the manager. I asked if they have happy hour, they stated "no". I asked if they knew what that was and they yes. I got their margaritas and they were good as it hit the right spot. Other visits and menu items ordered: "Speedee Gonzales", number 3 combo, number 8 combo and the best of them all -and my favorite-(shrimp fajitas). Their shrimp fajitas is delicious and contains a lot of food. So, come hungry if you order it. The number 8 combo is good too which includes a taco, beans and a chili releno (a stuffed pepper). Features: their decorations, art work, furniture, paintings and booths are real nice. The overall atmosphere here is ambient,pleasant and low lit.Other tips or recommends: The best menu item offered here is their lunch special which is everyday between 11am and 2 pm. So, you can order this any day including weekends. This is an unusual menu offering like no other Mexican restaurant that I have been to. Most have it during the weekdays but, not on weekends. Lunch specials start at around $6. In summary, I have been impressed with this Mexican restaurant and its service every time I have been here. Their food is great. Their servers take care of you. Overall, this is a fancy Mexican Restaurant. Y'all come.

Our two visits to Cleveland have included taking large groups here. They staff did a great job of accommodating our large groups (20 plus). The chips and salsa are great. Food choices ate broad enough to suit all tastes. The service was fast and friendly. If your travels take you to Cleveland, make this one of your meal stops.

Ate here for the first time tonight. The wait staff was friendly and the tables were clean. Chips were warm and crispy. I ordered carnitas based on another yelp review and really enjoyed it, it was a lot of food. My husband ordered enchiladas and a side of rice. He said it was good, comparable to other restaurants. We will definitely be back!

Amazing Mexican food and service!! The Chicken Avocado Soup was outstanding!! Highly recommend checking this place out :)

Excellent food, excellent service, and exceptional staff! I love the large menu selection, and the prices are fair.

Not much in this area to choose from. Read the reviews on Yelp and decided to give it a try. It was good not the best service was great. Would eat in here again if I was in yhe area.
